The Council of Architecture will not routinely conduct the NATA 2022 counselling. The qualifying candidates would have to submit individual applications to the institute of their choice for admissions based on the NATA 2022 scores. NATA 2022 results are accepted for BArch admissions by various state counselling processes in addition to private institutions. Candidates must review the private and state-level admission procedures since there won't be any NATA counselling in 2022. Learn more about NATA 2022 Counseling here.

Universities/Colleges and states that offer Architecture programmes would be conducting NATA Counseling in a separate way. There would be no separate procedure for counseling as such wherein NATA counseling would be conducted after the declaration of result by the Council of Architecture. The respective college admission authorities would be conducting the NATA counseling after result declaration by the Council of Architecture.

Candidates should keep track of important dates for NATA Counseling once they know the NATA Result. There are more than 400 institutes that accept NATA Score. The colleges and institutes in the respective states would be holding their own counseling procedure. Candidates qualifying NATA Examination would be applying for NATA Examination on the basis of their scores.

NATA is the only entrance examination that is held by the Council of Architecture which holds no counseling procedure. Most of the universities/colleges and states take admission for Bachelor of Architecture programmes on the basis of NATA scores. In order to participate in NATA Counseling, candidates would have to apply to their preferred college/institute. Candidates should ensure that meet the eligibility criteria of that particular institute that they apply to.

NATA Counseling Eligibility Criteria:

Apart from qualifying NATA, the candidates should meet the eligibility criteria of the institute they are seeking admission in.
The NATA Eligibility Criteria may vary between states and universities.
The candidates should read and understand the eligibility criteria before applying.

NATA 2022 scores are used by many Indian institutions to determine BArch admissions. The following fundamental qualifying requirements must be satisfied by applicants for admission to the BArch program.

Should have received the minimum passing score on the 10+2 examination.
The minimum age requirement for candidates as of July 31, 2022, is 17 years.
Should have a score that is valid for NATA 2022, which is at least 70 out of 200.
