CLAT 2026 Exam Day: Travel, Essentials & Stress Management

The CLAT 2026 is scheduled for December 7, 2025 and students must be all set to appear in the exam before the date. Many students are assigned their exam centre far from their home or hometown and such candidates must plan their commute accordingly to report to the exam centre on time.

Managing travel plans is just as important as revision and practice for outstation students. Everything must be well planned for such CLAT aspirants from booking train or flight tickets in advance to finding safe and affordable accommodation near the exam centre.

To learn to effectively plan traveling for the CLAT exam, students may refer to this page and learn to manage everything seamlessly. By doing advanced planning, aspirants may avoid last-minute rush, travel delays, unavailability of tickets, difficulty in finding accommodation, exam-day stress, and the risk of reaching the centre late or unprepared.

Travel Tips for Outstation CLAT Aspirants

  • Buy transport tickets as soon as you can to avoid unavailability or increase prices at the last minute.
  • Book accommodation close to the exam hall to minimize further travelling to the exam and lessen anxiety on exam day.
  • Visit the exam venue on the day prior to the exam to familiarize yourself with the location and the route to the exam hall.
  • Bring all relevant documents (admit card, identification, photographs) in one file for easy access.
  • Pack light and bring only what you need for your short stay away.
  • Leave home early enough on exam day to either mitigate traffic or other unforeseen delays.
  • Write down emergency contacts, your title, exam hall location, and accommodation in case your phone stops working or you have trouble with reception.
  • Plan your meals appropriately, eat light prior to the exam to avoid excess discomfort while also retaining focus.
