J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology is the new name for YMCA University of Science and Technology (YMCA UST). YMCA University of Science and Technology (YMCA UST) was founded in 1969. It is accredited by NAAC, recognized by UGC, and approved by AICTE. It is a state government-owned university.
It was a collaborative initiative started in 1969 by the Haryana government, the Central Agency for Development Assistance, and the National Council of YMCAs of India (Bonn, Germany). The Haryana state government assumed total control of this institution in 1996. YMCA University of Science and Technology was given university status in 2009.
J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology offers 22 courses at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level. There are eleven specialisations available in a variety of engineering fields, including civil, computer science, information technology, electronics and instrumentation control, and electronics and communication engineering. Moreover, the university provides programmes in Management Studies, Science, Biological Sciences, Communication & Media Technology, Computer Applications, and Literature & Languages. In addition, YMCA University provides a selection of vocational courses and postgraduate degrees.

Admission procedure was complex. As combined marks of class 12 board exams and jee mains was considered for ranking.
But main problem arises when different registration and forms are filled for various admission.

Atmosphere is brilliant. Only problem is the attitude and dominating nature of university Faculty.
Girls are in large numbers but already committed so boys feel lonely.
Clubs and club members are hardwork

I got addmision through online counceling first there is councelling through hates and if the seats are vacant then spot rounds are there firstly after the result u have to fill the form on hates website and the choice filling is there and then u will be shortlisted if your rank satisfy the procedur

My course was a part-time course and the classes on the Saturday and Sundays and when I applied there was only one seat left and they gave me to offer to join and I joined that and I was working and that is why I have joined this course.

YMCA is good college overall. It can be much much better. There are lots of assignments and exams and classes. I dont have time for anything else. We need good marks for placements. Placement is good.
