J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology is the new name for YMCA University of Science and Technology (YMCA UST). YMCA University of Science and Technology (YMCA UST) was founded in 1969. It is accredited by NAAC, recognized by UGC, and approved by AICTE. It is a state government-owned university.
It was a collaborative initiative started in 1969 by the Haryana government, the Central Agency for Development Assistance, and the National Council of YMCAs of India (Bonn, Germany). The Haryana state government assumed total control of this institution in 1996. YMCA University of Science and Technology was given university status in 2009.
J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology offers 22 courses at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level. There are eleven specialisations available in a variety of engineering fields, including civil, computer science, information technology, electronics and instrumentation control, and electronics and communication engineering. Moreover, the university provides programmes in Management Studies, Science, Biological Sciences, Communication & Media Technology, Computer Applications, and Literature & Languages. In addition, YMCA University provides a selection of vocational courses and postgraduate degrees.
