VSSUT Admission procedure is given below:
- OJEE / JEE (Main) will be used for admission to the 4-year B.Tech, 5-year B.Tech & M.Tech Dual Degree (Civil Eng.. & Electrical Engg.), B.Tech (Lateral Entry), MCA & MCA (Lateral Entry), and 5-year Architecture programs.
- A valid GATE score is necessary for admission to the 2-year M.Tech program. On the other hand, non-GATE candidates fill open seats in M.Tech specialties based on career evaluation.
- Admission to the 2-year M.Sc. program will be based on a career evaluation.
- Every year in July, VSSUT, OJEE, and OJEE(Main) hold entrance exams for the five-year Integrated M.Sc.
- Every year in July, VSSUT holds an entrance examination for its one-year M.Phil.
- Every year, VSSUT conducts an entrance exam for the Ph.D. program, which is followed by an interview in July and January.

Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) provides a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Technology with 11 distinct concentration topics. The institution also provides a 5-year integrated B.Tech+M.Tech program with two specialties. Admission to the University’s B.Tech. programs is dependent on performance in the Odisha Government’s Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Every year, the application process for Odisha JEE begins in March. Candidates can apply for the Odisha JEE online.

Veer Surendra Sai institution of Technology (VSSUT) PG Admission
VSSUT provides M.Tech programs in 20 distinct disciplines over a two-year period. Each M.Tech program has an admission capacity of 18 seats. GATE scores are used to select students for admission to any M.Tech programme. For the remaining seats, the college takes direct admission, with candidates chosen based on their performance in the B.Tech or equivalent examination. The University provides a variety of Postgraduate level courses in many sectors of Science and Technology.
The M.Sc program offers three distinct specialties during a two-year academic term, whereas the MCA program is offered over a three-year course duration. VSSUT also offers a 5-year integrated B.Sc + M.Sc curriculum. Admission to M.Sc. courses is determined by an open selection procedure based on academic career evaluation. Candidates will be evaluated for admission based on their performance in High School, Graduation, or Equivalent.

VSSUT provides Doctoral level engineering programs in 13 distinct specialized fields. Aspirants for the Ph.D. program must be selected by the Departmental Academic Committee (DAC) based on their total academic record, a written test, and an interview. VSSUT also provides a one-year Master of Philosophy degree program in three distinct areas. Each M.Phil programme has a seat limit of ten. A applicant must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant subject in order to apply for M.Phil admission. The qualifying examination marks are used to determine selection.

Students who have been chosen through the JEE/OJEE/Univ. entrance test for admission into various programmes at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, may register online using the link given on the VSSUT official website. Visit the Institute’s website at http://www.vssut.ac.in/.
- Register your phone number and email address.
- Students will be able to download/print their online application after successfully registering online.
- For future reference, an auto generated application code will be produced.
- The interested candidates may download the application form from the University Website and submit a hard copy of the signed completed application along with a non-refundable demand draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.200/- in the case of SC/ST candidates) in favour of, VSSUT, Burla payable at SBI, Burla (Code - 2034) or Syndicate Bank (Code - 8062) and send the same by Speed Post only so that it reaches the Dean, PGS & R, V
- The envelope holding the application should be labeled "Application for Programme" and include the Department (Specialization) name, if appropriate.

Vssut-come and join the jewel of odisha 5/5
Vssut isnt just a University, its a haven of great minds.The faculties are best, cooperative, the syllabus is good and the environment is conducive for a good education. The infrastructure might not attract one to study here, but the laboratories are the finest here, with the high voltage laboratory in electrical engineering department, being the only of its kind in the state. Its the premier engineering institute in Odisha, and its alumni are very well settled. The students have a good bonding and strive to maintain a homely atmosphere.The campus placements are fairly well, and this might be a con of the institute.Except this, one shall find satisfaction in pursuing engineering from this institute.All the very best to the applicants.
