PSG Institute of Management offers various management courses including a two-year full-time MBA program, a two-year full-time PGDM program, and a Ph.D. program in management. Admissionn to these courses are based on entrance exams and on merit marks. To get admission in MBA programme, candidate have to clear MAT examination. Final selection for all courses offered by PSG Institute of Management is based on Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. And overall, admission to MBA, Part-time MBA and PGDM program is offered on the basis of MAT/ TANCET/CAT/ ATMA.
PSG Institute Of Management How to Apply?
To apply for the MBA program at PSG Institute of Management (PSGIM), you can follow these steps:
- Online Application: Visit the PSGIM application portal at https://onlineapplication.psgims.net/im.html
- Registration: Register using your email address and create a password. This will help you log in to the application portal in the future.
- Fill in Details: Fill in all the required details in the online application form. Make sure to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- Attach Scanned Photograph: Attach a scanned passport-sized photograph. Ensure that the photograph’s size is less than 30KB or the dimensions are 110x125 pixels.
- Payment of Application Fee: Pay the application fee of INR 1000. You have two payment options:
- Demand Draft Mode: Prepare a Demand Draft payable at Coimbatore for INR 1000.
- Payment Gateway Mode: Use Credit Card, Debit Card, or Internet Banking to pay the application fee.
- Submission: Once you have filled in the application form, attached the photograph, and made the payment, submit the application form.
- Confirmation Email: After submitting the application form, you should receive a confirmation email. This email might include an application number or reference.
- Shortlisting and Interview: Within approximately two weeks, shortlisted candidates will receive a letter containing information about the interview process and interview dates.
- Prepare Documents for GD and Interview: Collect the necessary documents required for the Group Discussion (GD) and Interview round. These documents typically include:
- 10th and 12th Marksheets and Passing Certificates
Admit Card and Rank Card of MAT/TANCET/ATMA/CAT (entrance exam scores)
Transfer Certificate
Letter of Recommendation (from an employer)
Work Experience Letter
Graduation Marks Certificates - Interview Process: Attend the Group Discussion and Interview as per the schedule provided in the letter. Be prepared to discuss your qualifications, experiences, and aspirations.

Faculty: The teachers are amazing, they are helpful and experienced.
College: It is very good college for marketing studies, the infrastructure is good but little old. It is wifi enabled campus. Course curriculum is effective.
