MGKVP Admission Key Facts
Candidates who have completed their 10+2 in pertinent fields are eligible to apply for all UG programmes.
Candidates who have completed a three-year UG programme in the relevant discipline are eligible to apply for all PG programmes.
B.P.Ed applicants must have completed undergraduate studies with physical education as a major
LLB applicants must have graduated with a minimum cumulative GPA of 45% (or 40% for candidates in the SC and ST categories).
M.Ed applicants must have completed B.Ed., BA-B.Ed., or B.Sc.-B.Ed. with 50% (45% for SC/ST). The candidate for the M.Lib degree must have completed their B.Lib-ISc degree.
Admission criteria is based on entrance exams. The admission exam will have 200 possible points in a duration of 2 hours.
Candidates for the M.PEd, B.PEd, B. Music, M. Music, BFA, and MFA degrees must take a practical exam worth 100 points. The final merit will be determined by the results of the practical test.
SC, ST, and OBC each receive a 21%, 2%, and 27% reservation.
PWD candidates are given a 3% horizontal reservation. Only candidates with UP domiciles would be eligible for the benefit of reservation.
MGKVP Admission 2023: How to Apply
- Visit MGKVP University’s official website.
- Click on Admission in the drop-down menu under the student heading.
- Select "Apply Online" from the menu.
- You’ll be directed to a page to entrance.mgkvpvonline.org/Login.
- Enter Your Information and Log In.
- A new website with exam registration forms for several courses will launch.
- The forms for each UG, PG, and diploma course vary.
- Fill out the entry form by clicking on it.
- Upload the signature and photo.
- Take a copy of the form’s printout and save it for later use.
Documents Required:
- Standard 10th and 12th mark sheet photocopies (self-attested).
- Bachelor’s degree marksheet (for PG candidates).
- Grade report for the master’s degree, if applicable
- birth certificate
- Identity card
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Certification character (CC)
- Original Migration Certificate
- 6 passport-size photos
- A declaration against ragging signed by the candidate’s parents and inked with a notary’s seal on official paper (original and one copy)
- A self-attested copy of the income and caste certificate, as well as the SC/ST/OBC) EWS certificate (where applicable).
- A self-attested copy of a disability certificate, if applicable

You will get good teachers here as well as a good and large campus as you know that this university was the British rule in India since the time of British rule and together you will find good friends here, do not read here There is only one reason that the politics is more than the expectation of other colleges here

MGKVP is the best institution in the Banaras city due to its excellent education structure and also in this University there are immense possibilities of the learning is present and in the year 2009 I have taken admission here and passed out in the year 2012 and I have chosen this same university for my MCom course.

The annual fees of this course was Rs 50,000 PA and there is a college exam which one have to pass for taking admission in this college and there are scholarships for SC/ST/OBC Students and there are total 150 students in My batch and i have taken admission in this college in year 2016.

A good college to pursue BCom, admission is done on the basis of 12th score and college entrance process. In my time there were no placements but now may be they are there. There are no canteens or events organised in college due to college internal politics.

Kashi Vidyapith is an old University in the Banaras and for the general category 50% marks are required and less for the SC/ST/OBC and right now I am in the 2nd year of the course and this college is also best in education.

The degree was Bsc PCM Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and I have given the state level UPSEEE EXAM which was valid for taking admission here in this college and the fee of the college was Rs 7000 per year and I have passed out in the year 2015.

MGKVP is one of the traditional Universities in India in Banaras (City of Lord Shiva) and i am very happy that I have completed my Graduation in science from this university and the annual fees of this university was Rs 5,000 PA which was quite affordable but still any student from the OBC Quota wants the scholarship he/she can apply that
