About IIT Gandhinagar: The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, commonly referred to asIIT Gandhinagar, came into existence in the academic year 2008 as one of the eight new IITs. The sole institution from Gujarat to be listed among the top 1,000 institutions in the study is IITGN.

IIT Gandhinagar offers multiple scholarships to the students of the college:
Scholarship for Academic Excellence: This scholarship is trying to reward the students for academic excellence, The students who can secure the highest CPI in their disciplines. The students will get an amount of around INR 2,000 per month for almost ten months. If the awardee is said to be the recipient of one of the available scholarships of the same amount. Then the recipient will be eligible only for a single receipt of around INR 5000.
IIT Gandhinagar Scholarships for Sports and Games
The students of IIT Gandhinagar will be awarded in case they excel in sports and games. There are a total of six scholarships that will be awarded every year.
- Students who are in their second, third, and fourth year for the UG program will need to apply and every recipient will be awarded INR 2,000 per month for almost ten months.
- So the awardee will also be a recipient of a scholarship of equal or higher amount. Then he/she will become eligible for a single-time receipt of almost INR 5000.
