Latest Updates: The IIIT Pune admission is expected to open soon. The JEE Main Session 1 Exam results are declared and candidates can download the scorecard from the NTA official website. JEE Main Session 2 registrations are open and March 2, 2024, is the last date to apply. JEE Main Session 2 exam will be conducted between April 4, 2024, and April 15, 2024, and the results will be declared on April 25, 2024. The GATE 2024 results will be declared on March 16, 2024.

The IIIT Pune Admissions 2024 is expected to open soon for admission to its B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D., and certificate courses. IIIT Pune Admissions are conducted online, and candidates can visit the official website of IIIT Pune (www.iiitp.ac.in) to apply for admission to their desired course. IIIT Pune Admissions: Eligibility and Selection Criteria
The IIIT Pune Admission Eligibility and selection criteria is listed down in the below pointers:
- Candidates should have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate to apply to the IIIT Pune B.Tech admission. The selection is based on the JEE Main scores of the individual.
- Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree with at least 60% marks in aggregate to apply to the IIIT Pune M.Tech admission. The selections are based on the GATE.
- Candidates applying to the Ph.D. course at IIIT Pune should possess a bachelor's degree with 65% aggregate. Entrance exams such as GATE and UGC NET are accepted.
- Candidates applying to the certificate courses at IIIT Pune should possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. The selection is based on the entrance exam and the institute's shortlisting procedure.

IIIT Pune Seat Intake 2024
IIIT Pune offers B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D., and Certificate courses, each with a seat intake. B.Tech has a seat intake of 269, M.Tech has a seat intake of 24, and the certificate course has a seat intake of 50.

IIIT Pune Admissions: How to Apply?
The candidates should follow the steps mentioned below for IIIT Pune admissions:
For B.Tech Admission
- Candidates should appear for the JEE Main exam based on which they can get admission to IIIT Pune
- Visit JEE Main's official website
- Enter all the details and register
- Now, login using the password and application number, generated during the time of registration
- Complete the application by uploading the scanned documents
- Now pay the registration amount and take a printout of the application form and payment receipt for future use.
- If the candidates qualify for the JEE Main, they will then register for JoSAA counseling.

For M.Tech Admission
- IIIT Pune M.Tech admissions are based on the candidate's GATE scores.
- Candidates can register for GATE through its official website
- Enter all the details, register, and then login using the password and application number
- Complete the application by uploading the scanned documents and payment of the registration amount.
- Candidates can also visit the institute's official website
- Now they can apply for the M.Tech admission upon which they will be asked to appear for the written test, followed by a personal interview.
