The Admission procedure of Hassaram Rijhumal College of Commerce & Economics, mostly known as HR College, is followed by a few simple steps. The college offers various programs at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. HR College Courses are offered under various specializations. Candidates seeking admission to any of the programs must ensure that they fulfill the minimum qualification required by the college. There is various Add on courses too, the candidates can apply for. These courses include Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma courses.

Minimum Educational qualification required

For Undergraduate program

  • Candidates seeking admission to BMM, B. Com, B. Voc, Tourism & Hospitality management, and BMS must have passed senior secondary school in the field of Arts, Commerce or Science from Maharashtra Board of Higher education or from an equivalent board.
  • For Add on courses under various specializations, the candidates must pass senior secondary school securing at least 70% marks and higher secondary school with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
  • For M. Com, the basic requirement is to have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
  • While seeking admission to Ph.D. requires an M. Com degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or an M. Phil degree.

Admission to Undergraduate program at HR College

  • The programs offered at the undergraduate level are BMM, B. Com, B. Voc, Tourism & Hospitality Management, and BMS. These programs are offered under various specializations.
  • For admission to any of the undergraduate programs, the candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the last qualifying examination (Merit-based).

Admission to Add on programs at HR College

  • The add on courses are provided under several specializations namely Advertising, Sales promotion & Sales Management, Tourism & Travel Management, and Tax Procedure & Practice.
  • For admission, the candidates must qualify the written entrance examination followed by Personal Interview and Group Discussion round conducted by the university.

Admission to Postgraduate program at HR College

  • M. Com is the only program offered by the university at the postgraduate level. Interested candidates can choose to pursue the course in two different specializations.

Admission to Ph.D. at HR College

  • Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. program are required to qualify UGC-NET/JRF/SET followed by Personal Interview round conducted at the university.
  • Besides above-mentioned examinations, marks obtained by the candidates in Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the university can also be considered for admission to Ph.D.
