About HR College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai
The establishment of Hassaram Rijhumal College of Commerce & Economics commonly referred to as HR College, took place in the academic year of 1960. The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai since its inception. The H. R. College was the first college in Maharashtra to be given Grade ‘A' by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and it has been accredited with Grade ‘A' twice by NAAC. The college has also been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
While the infrastructure of the college is being considered, there is no adequate space in terms of area but the college manages to provide all the basic facilities and amenities to the students. There are various activities and events conducted by the students and different departments of the college. Some of the most important aspects are mentioned below:

Faculties are of equal importance, highly qualified and dedicated to their work. Most of the members are experienced and they try to put in all their efforts to make learning easier for students. They are well educated and proficient in their respective fields. The faculty members help students through various events conducted at the time of placements.
The HR College Courses include both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Programs offered at the undergraduate level are BMM, B. Com, B. Voc, Tourism and Hospitality management, and BMS. While the program M. Com is offered at the postgraduate level. The college also offers a Ph.D. program at the Doctorate level. These programs are offered under various specializations. Also, admission to these programs varies from one to another. The HR College Admissions include various procedures one must go through in order to take admission to any of the courses.

Candidates seeking admission to BMM must have passed senior secondary school from Maharashtra Board of Higher Education or equivalent from Arts/Commerce/Science.

While for B. Com, B. Voc, Tourism & Hospitality Management, or BMS, the candidates are required to have passed 10+2 from Maharashtra Board of Higher Education or equivalent from Commerce or Arts.

For M. Com, the candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from a recognized university.

For admission to Ph.D., the candidates must have passed M. Com securing at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
HR College Placements

The Placement trend that HR College follows is quite impressive. The HR Placement & Training cell has good collaborations with many reputed companies. The candidates are shortlisted based on their performance and participation in the event conducted at the college. There are many companies that visit the campus like Deloitte, Ernst & Young, etc. The maximum package offered is 9 LPA, while the average package remains to be at 3 LPA to 5 LPA.
