HR College of Commerce & Economics Placements

HR College of Commerce & Economics Placement Cell is a Student Managed Professional Body that is for, by, and for the students. It serves as a bridge between the corporate sector and our college’s young, aspirational students. The Placement Cell strives to prepare students for the workforce by assisting them in finding diverse and appropriate job opportunities. The opportunities provided are both quantitative and qualitative in order to properly match the students’ skills. Because the Placement Cell believes in a collaborative approach, corporate engagement is not limited to third-year, ready-to-graduate students. Conducting rigorous internship drives, regardless of any other factors, has been one of our most successful initiatives.

The Placement Cell has articulately provided virtual internship opportunities. The college has its own placement cell that considers the needs of both graduates and companies. It has a highly trained team of training officers. They consistently connect with major commerce and management firms, establishing a link between the companies and the graduates.

The college strongly encourages students to complete at least one corporate internship and one non-profit internship during their three-year degree programme. As a result, the cell works hard to bring summer internship programmes to colleges from top corporations. Internships have included Marketing, Human Resources, Management, Finance, Sales, and Content Writing.

The Placement Cell has also organised a number of other events for the college, such as the Ernst & Young Scholarship Programme, the KPMG Campus Ambassador Programme, the Media Seminar - Viacom 18, HR Pulse and Article Ship Placements, and so on.

Deloitte, KPGM, SchBang, Capital First, Grant Thornton, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, TATA Capital, Kotak, Reliance, The Oberoi Group, and others have provided opportunities for students. Stipends are typically in the range of 3-4 lakhs per year. It can reach 6 lakhs per year.
