The Gudlavalleru Engineering College (GEC), a private institution, is located in the Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh, India. Often referred to as "The Father of Gudlavalleru Engineering College," Sri Vallurupalli Venkata Rama Seshadri Rao established it in 1998. The university is now progressing under the innovative leadership of the current Chairman, Dr. Nageswara Rao Vallurupalli. GEC is a separate organization affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Kakinada. Among the engineering specialties that GEC offers undergraduate and graduate courses in are electrical and electronic engineering, electronic and communication engineering, civil engineering, computer science and engineering, information technology, and mechanical engineering. The college has 4966 students enrolled and 150 faculty members.
