Steps to Apply for Admission to Chennai Institute of Technology

Eligibility & Selection Criteria
- Admission will be on the basis of the qualifying exam and TNEA Counselling.
- The Candidate seeking admission in this course should have Completed 10+2 Level of Examination from a recognized board of education with minimum score of 50% for General Category, 45% for Backward Category and 40% for Reserved Category in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics aggregate marks.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission to M. E. program must have passed B. E./B. Tech in the relevant field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- Engineering Diploma holders of minimum three-year duration with minimum 50% marks are eligible to seek admission to 2nd year of the B.E/B.Tech programs under the Lateral Entry scheme.

The infrastructure and the facilities available in our college is one among the best.Our college is fully equipped with WiFi.The one thing I like about my college is that there is NO DRESS CODE and mobile phones are permitted in our campus .But we make sure that we use it in the right way.

A very nice atmosphere. The education, is no doubt at par. The bigger reason why you should join this institution is that the fact that the professors and faculty members are more concerned about your career than you really are. They advice you to push your limit every time and which eventually makes you a better student. There are a lot of technical and non technical events happening here and you can engage in as many activities as you like. The entire staff federation is very supportive and always there in need of help. You you are really interested to know the domain of engineering, this is your place

I visited this college for symposium. They even conduct workshops that are very useful. Career Compass is a program conducted in CIT which helps a lot of Engineering students to find their path after Graduation. 5/5

Best Engineering College 5/5
College Infrastructure: Our college has well ventilated classrooms facilities and the campus has pleasant environment for student to study . It also give free WiFi for the students. It also has vast library with over 7000 books . Academics: Academically it is an outstanding college. All the professors here are highly qualified with doctorate degree , and they are mostly very effective in teaching . For grooming industry specific work shop are also organised. Placements: There are ample opportunities for internship as well as for placements. Placement opportunities range from local, national to international companies who will visit the CIT campus to recruit young engineers, from all disciplines, on annual basis, Apart from these companies, MK auto components India, will also be recruiting their employees from CIT only. Value-for-money: Fee structure as per university standards. College provide transparency in fee. Campus Life: Campus life is so exciting . It is surrounded by number of cafes and eateries. The campus is really green and give out positive vibes to have a lot of fun. Extracurricular activities are held frequently. Anything Else: Professors are highly qualified and do their best to impart the knowledge even beyond the curriculum. The college is well known for being the best in the course they provide . Event held are numerous.

All of our college faculty members were pretty supportive and motivating. The college supports and celebrates all Co-curricular activities and sports in the campus. Our college conducts many cultural event, workshops, seminar, paper presentation. You have to decide where to pursue your goals.
