Admissions in D.Pharm, B.Pharm and Pharm.D:

  • The candidate must have passed two years Pre-University Course (PUC) examination of Karnataka PUC Board, OR
  • The candidate must have passed class XII from a recognized board with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks in PCM or PCB or PCMB or PC with Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Science/ Biotechnology, OR
  • The candidate who has already passed D.Pharm course approved by the Pharmacy Council of India will be provided admission in second B.Pharm course.
  • Admissions in D.Pharm, B.Pharm and Pharm.D are provided on the basis of merit i.e. the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying degree.
  • Relaxation of 10 percent is provided to the candidates of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category. The candidates of reserved category must possess a minimum of 35 percent aggregate in the qualifying degree.
  • The candidates who have qualified examination listed by the Association of Indian Universities can also apply for the B.Pharm course at Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy.
  • The candidate seeking admission in Under Graduate course must be born on or after December 31, 1993.

Admission in M.Pharm and Pharm.D:

  • The candidates seeking admission in Post Graduate courses must have passed B.Pharm degree from any university recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
  • The candidate must possess a minimum of 55 percent aggregate in Graduation.
  • A relaxation of 5 percent is provided to the candidates of the Reserved Category.
  • Pharmacy teachers who hold B.Pharm degree from a university recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and have 5 years of teaching experience must possess a minimum of 50 percent aggregate to apply for admission in Post Graduate courses.
  • Admission is provided on the basis of merit.

Admission in Ph.D.:

  • Candidates seeking admission in Ph.D. must qualify the mandatory Personal Interview round conducted by the college for selection of research scholars.
  • Candidate’s academic performance in Post Graduate degree will also be considered by the college.
  • Candidate must have passed Mater’s degree with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks from a college recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
