UPCATET 2023

The admission process for UPCATET 2023 commenced on March 12th at the official website of Acharya Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology. Aspiring candidates must submit their application forms before April 20th. The entrance exam for various agriculture programmes offered by participating universities will be conducted by Acharya Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology on May 30th and 31st. The UPCATET 2023 result will be declared online. Candidates who have completed the application process can access their UPCATET admit card 2023 using their login details.

UPCATET stands for Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Home Science, Veterinary Science, Dairy Technology and other allied sciences offered by various government and private colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The exam is usually held in the month of May or June every year, and the application process starts in February or March.

UPCATET 2023: Eligibility Criteria

In order to appear for UPCATET 2023, candidates need to fulfill the eligibility requirements specified by the conducting authority. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates should have been residents of Uttar Pradesh for a minimum of five years. In case a candidate's ancestors were residents of Uttar Pradesh, they can also apply for the exam.

Aspiring candidates who possess a valid scorecard in agricultural science, along with the combinations of PCB/PCMB/PCM, are eligible to apply. 

B.Sc (Honors) Home Science and B.Fsc

Candidates who have completed their 10+2 education with either PCB/PCM/PCMB/agricultural science combination are eligible to participate in the exam.

B.Tech in CSE, ECE, and Mechanical

A valid 10+2 marksheet with PCM/PCMB is a mandatory requirement for all candidates who are interested in applying.

PG Courses

M.V.Sc, M.Sc & MBA

Completion of a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution with qualifying cutoffs is a requirement for all candidates.

UPCATET 2023 Application Process

UPCATET 2023 Counselling

The UPCATET 2023 first phase UG counselling at Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology will begin on June 20, 2023. Candidates included in the merit list must attend the UPCATET counselling 2023 in order to secure admission in their preferred UG and PG programmes. The counselling process will be conducted online in two phases, first and second. To participate in the counselling, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Registration

Candidates need to register online by providing their registered mobile number, email ID, and Date of Birth.

Once registered, candidates must upload scanned copies of their documents, marks sheets, certificates, etc.

Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking

Candidates must select colleges from the list provided and lock their choices.

Note that choices cannot be modified once locked.

Step 3: Seat Allotment and Security Fee Deposit

Candidates are required to deposit a security fee of Rs. 5000.

The UPCATET conducting body will release a merit list containing the names of candidates based on their choices made in the choice filling round.

Candidates are advised to keep a printed copy of the merit list.

Step 4: Reporting to the University
