Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) will open Phase 1 counselling registration for TS POLYCET 2025 today, 24 June 2025.Candidates can visit the official websitetgpolycetd.nic.in to register online, pay the processing fee, and arrange certificate verification. The cut-off date for these steps is 28 June 2025.

Counselling Schedule – Phase 1

The Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) has announced the complete counselling schedule for Telangana POLYCET 2025 Phase 1. Candidates must complete each process from registration to seat confirmation within the specified dates to secure admission in diploma courses across Telangana.

Documents Required

The candidates are required to bring certain important documents for TS POLYCET 2025 Counselling and certificate verification purposes during the counselling process, which is also used by the authorities to verify the eligibility, identity and category, etc. Candidates should carry both original as well as photocopies of all the documents for verification.

• Class 10th (SSC) or Equivalent Marks Memo
• Date of Birth Certificate (if not included in SSC)
• Community/Caste Certificate (for candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC, issued by competent authority)
• Physical fitness certificate (issued by a registered medical practitioner)
• Minority status certificate (for Muslim/Christian candidates, if applicable)
• TS POLYCET 2025 Hall ticket and Rank card
• Study certificates from Class IV to X (or applicable period)
• Private candidate declaration/certificates (if applicable)
• Residence or non-local status certificate (for candidates who have not studied in any local university area)
• Conduct/Character certificate issued by last attended school

Admission & Counselling Process

TS POLYCET 2025 counselling is organized to admit students into a Diploma level engineering and non-engineering academic courses in various government, aid and private polytechnic institutions of Telangana. ONLY those candidates who qualified & ranked in the TS POLYCET entrance examination can register for the counselling.

• Eligible Courses: Diploma in Engineering and Non-Engineering courses - Polytechnic stream.

• Eligible Candidates: ONLY those candidates who qualified in TS POLYCET 2025 - valid rank
• Important Exceptions: Admission to the university courses offered by SKLTSHU (Horticulture), PVNRTVU (Veterinary) and PJTSAU (Agriculture) will be through the respective universities NOT through TS POLYCET counselling process.
• Subsequent to verification: Candidates must log in and opt for the courses and colleges they want to opt for in web-option entry.
• Seat allotment: Seat allotment process is solely based on rank, category and options exercised by the candidate.
