Prepping for the TS LAWCET 2025 exam is an important step towards gaining admission in top law colleges across Telangana. With exam day quickly approaching, candidates must be aware of dress protocol and prohibited items in the examination hall, to allow themselves to stress less and have a seamless experience on exam day.

Following these guidelines will not only prevent you from being disqualified, but it will also allow you to focus on your performance and not whether or not you're going to be able to sit in the examination hall. Below you will find everything you're going to want to know about proper dress code, prohibited items, and exam tips, so you can enter the examination hall and begin writing, without a single worry in the world.

TS LAWCET 2025 Dress Code- What to wear on Exam day

  1. Dress in Simple and Comfortable Clothing
  • Select simple and modest clothing without wording or excessive design
  • Avoid clothing with large logos, graphics or distracting designs
  1. Choose Lightweight and Breathable Fabrics
  • Choose cotton or breathable material
  • Breathable fabrics can help you cool off and kept focused during the tiring exam
  1. Avoid Scratched or Metal clothing
  • Do not wear clothing with metal zippers, embroidery, sequins, or patches to prevent delays in your frisking or private security checks
  1. Avoid Accessory and Jewelry
  • Do not wear watches, bracelets, rings, chains or earrings. 
  • Most exam centers do not allow accessories in order to keep the playing field fair
  1. Wear Easy-To-Take-Off Footwear
  • Wear sandals, simple sandals, or flat slip-ons and avoid shoes with thick soles, heels, or hidden compartments
  1. Wear Plain Organic Head Coverings (If Applicable)
  • Head coverings must only be worn for religious or cultural reasons only
  • The head covering must also be plain and not have any decoration or pins
  • If someone would see your head covering as you were being identified, it must be removed

Prohibited Items for TS LAWCET 2025 Exam

  • Electronic Devices: Any mobile device, such as smart watches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, etc. are prohibited in the examination hall no exceptions will be made.  
  • Study Material: Books, notes, sheets of paper or any printed or handwritten materials are disallowed from the examination room. If a candidate brings such materials into the exam room they may be disqualified.
  • Stationery: Candidates are not allowed to bring pens, pencils or anything to write with unless allowed to. The exam authorities are responsible for providing any stationary for use while taking the exam. 
  • Bags/Purses: Candidates are not allowed to bring any backpacks, hand bags, or bags of any kind into the exam facilities. . 
  • Food/Beverages: Candidates are not permitted to bring any food product nor beverages. Candidates are allowed to bring a clear and empty water bottle which can be filled with water upon arrival at the exam facility. 
  • Jewellery/Accessories: Candidates are discouraged to wear any forms of jewellery, such as watches or items containing metal. These can interfere with the search process as well as in the integrity of the exam process. 
  • Head Coverings: Candidates are not permitted to wear hats, caps or any form of head covering except when required for religious reasons. In the event candidates wear head coverings for religious reasons that such items be without decorations.

Understanding the TS LAWCET 2025 dress code and exam day instructions is important for a stress-free experience.
