TNEA 2025 Online Registration Starts on May 7, Check Registration Steps and Fees

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has commenced TNEA registration from today, May 7, 2025, on its official website. Candidates who have passed class 12 and aspire to pursue Engineering Courses (B.E. / B.Tech) can now register for TNEA through tneaonline.org/. The TNEA counselling is conducted for admission into 430 affiliated colleges.

The process of TNEA registration includes various steps such as online registration, filling out the application form, uploading required documents, paying the application fee, etc. The last date to submit the TNEA application is June 6, 2025, and post that, no application will be accepted by the authorities. How to Register for TNEA 2025?

Candidates can refer to the following to check out how to register for TNEA counselling 2025.

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of TNEA, i.e. tneaonline.org.
  • Step 2: Enter the required information once the application form window opens.

Information Required: name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email id, registration number, and passing year of 10+2 level.

  • Step 3: Create a password for security reasons
  • Step 4: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
  • Step 5: Enter OTP to activate your account

TNEA 2025 Registration Fee

In the Tamil Nadu engineering admissions process for the academic year 2025-26, candidates must pay a registration fee based on their category using the one provided payment gateway.

Required Documents for TNEA 2025 Counselling Registration

To get admission for BE/BTech or BArch, a candidate must submit a request form via the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission web portal. To do so, one must consume the following documents:

  • 10th i.e. SSLC Marksheet
  • HSC First year (+1) Mark sheet
  • HSC Second year (+2) / Equivalent Marksheet
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Details of government schools studied from the 6th to 12th standard for 7.5% of government school students' reservations.
  • Permanent Community Certificate for ST, SC, SCA, MBC&DNC, BC, and BCM (either Permanent card or electronic method / digitally signed e-certificate)
  • Nativity Certificate (only in electronic form/ digitally signed e-Certificate) (if applicable)
    Income certificate (if applicable)
  • Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee Certificate (If applicable)
