Eligibility
The goal of the Ramanujan Fellowship 2025 is to draw in exceptional Indian and Indian-origin engineers and scientists who are currently employed overseas. To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- A scientist or engineer who is currently employed overseas is required.
- At the time of nomination, they must be younger than 40.

- Ph.D. in Engineering or Science

- A medical doctorate or its equivalent

Benefits
For returning scientists and engineers, the Ramanujan Fellowship 2025 provides generous financial support to support innovative research. The following advantages will be granted to chosen candidates:
- A fellowship of ₹1,35,000 per month, which includes HRA
- A ₹7,000,000 annual research grant to pay for travel, supplies, research staff, and contingencies
- An annual overhead fee of ₹60,000 is due to the host institution.
