Conditions and terms of the scholarship are as follows:
- Students need an active bank account to get the scholarship benefits.
- 30% of the scholarship is set aside for female students.
- Students in schools that receive help from this program can’t get support from other government programs for the same things already covered here.
- The selection criteria might change, so students should check the latest guidelines from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
- A committee will be put together to pick the best-performing schools that have consistently had a 100% pass rate in the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. This committee will be led by the Joint Secretary (BC) from the Ministry, and it will have members from the Department of School Education and NITI Ayog.
- Selected schools need to have an Aadhaar-based attendance system that can work with a central portal if needed.
