Parul University Receives Jury Award for Excellence in Globalisation at FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards 2024
Vadodara-based Parul University is honoured to announce that the "Jury Award for Excellence in Globalisation" was awarded to Parul University by the 19th FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards 2024. The award emphasized Parul University's commitment to globalisation; it also demonstrated the NEP 2020 objective of enhancing internationalization for universities. In addition, it highlighted the university's commitment to enhancing global engagement, creating international partnerships, and providing world-class education for students.
The FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards recognizes institutions that excel in quality and access to higher education in India. As a higher education sector partner of FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards, the event was a gathering of the most influential stakeholders in education showcasing the importance of universities within a worldwide learning environment.

With strategic partnership agreements established with leading institutions globally, high-quality semester exchange and pathway programs, and a program of study structured using international benchmarks, the University has been preparing its students and professors to be productive in an increasingly globalized world. The University has consistently recognized the value of international exposure and collaboration, having sent more than 1,000 students and professors abroad for either study abroad or exchange programs, and has hosted well over 500 international students and professors at the University.
As part of the University's globalization, there are many collaborative efforts, organized through the University's Centre for International Relations and Research (CIRR), allowing students to travel abroad for summer school, master's projects, internships, or pathway programs, and hosting internationally recognized professors and students at the University. Under the International Distinguished Professor program, professors from foreign universities come to campus for a month to teach University students and engage with the professor on relevant projects. The University also accepts international students for semester programs, internships, and short summer courses which may create academic credits. The University welcomes a wealth of students from Spain, Germany, and Italy in its vibrant campus community; the diverse number of nationalities seriously reflects a global mentality that successfully contributes to the learning process for everybody.
