Complete UGC NET Syllabus: A Comprehensive Guide for the Aspirants

(UGC-NET) is a standardized test in India, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the UGC, to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), Assistant Professor positions, and PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges.

A Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or a 4-year undergraduate degree with 75%

Alternatively, search for "NTA UGC NET official website" in any search engine

Ensure you're on the authentic website by verifying the .ac.in domain (government educational domain)

Important: Avoid third-party websites that may contain outdated information

Step 2: Navigate to UGC NET Section

On the NTA homepage, locate the "Examination" dropdown menu in the top navigation bar

Click on "Examination" to expand the dropdown menu

Select "UGC-NET" from the dropdown list

You will be redirected to the dedicated UGC NET section

Alternatively, you may directly visit https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ if available

Step 3: Locate the Syllabus Section
