The MAT exam will be held twice in the September 2025 session. The MAT PBT is scheduled for September 21 whereas MAT CBT will take place on September 28, 2025. Students must note that MAT 2025 September session registrations are ongoing and they must register before the deadline to participate in the exam. The MAT 2025 exam is conducted for those who meet the minimum MAT eligibility criteria and anyone who fails to submit the supporting document verifying their eligibility, will not be allowed to register for the exam.

The MAT July 2025 session was conducted on July 17 and around 20,000 students register for each MAT session annually. Almost the same amount of students are expected to participate in the MAT registration process for the September session. How to Register for MAT September Phase 2025?

  • Visit the AIMA MAT Registration Portal- mat.aima.in
  • Register using details like the Name, Email ID, Phone Number, and setting a password
  • Confirm the details and click on the ‘Register' button at the end
  • An OTP will be shared to the registered mobile number. Verify the phone number. With this step you will complete MAT exam registration 2025
  • Log in to your MAT account using the registered credentials
  • Enter details in the application form including Personal, Educational, Contact, etc.
  • Upload the necessary documents including the scanned passport size photograph and signature
  • Pay the MAT Application Fees
  • Review the Application and finally submit the MAT exam application form 2025
  • Download and take a printout for further use

Can I Appear in Multiple MAT Sessions?

Yes, the authorities allow candidates to appear in all sessions/phases and modes of the MAT exam in order to help them improve their score. The MAT exam is conducted many times annually, usually in the months of February, May, July, September, and December. Students must note that MAT will consider their best score obtained while offering the admission.
