Latest Updates: The MBA Placements and MBA Analytics Placements at IIM Kashipur in 2023 have successfully concluded, boasting a 100% placement rate. Notably, there has been a 19% rise in the average package, reaching INR 18.11 LPA. Furthermore, the highest package secured by a student at IIM Kashipur reached INR 37 LPA.
For the IIM Admission Process, candidates need to clear the CAT Exam. The registration process for CAT 2023, commenced on August 2, 2023, while the examination itself is scheduled for November 26, 2023. It’s worth mentioning that the registration fees for CAT 2023 have seen an increase across all categories. For the general category, the fee has been raised to INR 2,400 from the previous INR 2,300. Similarly, for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the fee has been adjusted to INR 1,200, compared to last year’s INR 1,150.
IIM Kashipur, an esteemed member of the IIMs, was founded in 2011. IIM Kashipur's rankings have been unveiled for various assessments such as NIRF, IIRF, and Outlook I-CARE. In the NIRF Ranking of 2023, IIM Kashipur secured the 19th spot out of 100 participating institutions. In the IIRF Ranking of 2023, IIM Kashipur achieved the 28th position among all participating colleges. The Business Today Ranking of 2023 also recognized IIM Kashipur, placing it at 28th among leading B-Schools and 12th for its Executive MBA (PGCBM) program. Furthermore, IIM Kashipur earned the 12th rank in the Outlook I-CARE 2022 Surveys.
The most significant development in this year's NIRF (Management) rankings revolved around IIM Kozhikode surpassing IIM Calcutta to secure the third position among India's premier B-schools. It marked a notable achievement for a second-generation IIM overtaking a first-generation counterpart. However, what escaped the attention of many was the remarkable progress of a third-generation IIM over the past two years. IIM Kashipur, situated in Uttarakhand, managed to surge an impressive 14 places, transitioning from the 33rd spot in the 2021 NIRF rankings to an impressive 19th place in the 2023 NIRF rankings.
When we look at all the programs over different academic years, we see that there are many different types of students. IIM Kashipur has a total of 661 students, 487 being male students and 174 being female students. IIM Kashipur also had 17 students from the state. What's interesting is that 644 students came from other states to study at IIM Kashipur, making the Campus of IIM Kashipur quite diverse. Among these students, 98 of them are considered economically disadvantaged, which means they might not be from a financially stable background. There are also 317 students who face social challenges, like belonging to categories such as SC, ST, and OBC. Some students, 45 to be exact, get all their tuition fees paid by the government, both state and central. Another 71 students receive financial help from IIM Kashipur to cover their tuition fees. However, there are 299 students who don't get full help with their tuition fees. This shows that students here come from different financial backgrounds when they are pursuing the PG 2-year Program.
