The actual and in-hand salary of a district judge is different in different states in India. In India, a District Judge is expected to earn around ₹1,44,840 a month in 2025. This amount mainly comes from a basic pay of ₹1,31,100 set by the 7th Pay Commission, plus various allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Travel Allowance (TA). If you are internally promoted to a District Judge post, the salary is around Rs. 1,31,100 per month.
