CUET 2025 Seat Allotment Rounds
Seat allotment for CUET UG 2025 will be done in multiple rounds by the participating universities. Universities will declare round-wise seat allotment lists based on candidate's CUET score, rank, choice filling, seat availability, and category. Candidates will be required to accept the seat, upgrade, or wait for later rounds based on their choice and merit.

- Round 1: First seat allotment according to merit, preferences, and availability of seats. Maximum top rank holders typically receive seats in Round 1.
- Round 2: Held for candidates who prefer seat upgradation or failed to receive a seat in Round 1. Seats that remain vacant after first allotment are filled.
- Round 3 (and subsequent rounds, if required): Last opportunity for seat allotment. Primarily for vacant/backlog seats after the withdrawal and non-reporting of previous candidates.
- Spot Round / Special Round: If seats are empty after all the rounds, universities carry out a Spot Counselling. Candidates need to personally present and occupy seats as per the availability.
