The CUET UG examination is set to begin from 13th May 2025. The exam will carry on until 3rd June 2025. The exam requires a lot of effort for students to crack and is very competitive. CUET UG Important Items to Carry
There are several important items that students need to carry for the CUET UG examination. Without carrying some of these items, students may not be allowed to sit for the examination. Provided below is a brief overview of some of the important items students should carry to the examination.
The items are as follows:
- Admit Card: A printed copy of the CUET UG admit card is needed by students to sit for the examination. Without this document students may not be allowed to give the exam.
- Photo-ID Proof: For proper verification of student identification, students are recommended to carry any form of government-issued verification. Some documents that students could use include PAN Card, Aadhar Card or Passport.
- Water Bottle: Students should carry a water bottle to the examination center in order to stay hydrated.
- Passport-Size Photograph: Students should carry any recent passport sized photograph to the CUET UG exam.
CUET UG Dress Code
The CUET UG exam follows a strict dress code that students should adhere to. Not following the dress code for the CUET UG exam can cause students to face unwanted and unnecessary hassle when giving the CUET UG examination.

CUET UG Dress Code for Girl Students
The dress code for girl students is as follows:
- Students are advised to wear simple and light-colored clothes. Any form of trousers or leggings are accepted.
- Clothes with too many pockets are not allowed to be worn.
- No shoes or boots are allowed. Students may wear sandals or slippers as footwear in the examination hall.
- Any form of jewelry is not allowed to be worn by students for the CUET UG examination. These include earrings, rings, necklaces or bangles.
CUET UG Dress Code for Boy Students
The dress code for boy students is as follows:
- Students are advised to wear simple and light-colored clothes. Plain trousers or pants are acceptable.
- Shoes and boots are not allowed. Slippers and sandals are the only acceptable forms of footwear for students.
- Boy students are not allowed to wear jewelry and other accessories. These include rings, earrings, belts, watches and metal chains.

CUET UG Reporting Time
The CUET UG exam will take place in shifts. The reporting time for the CUET UG examination will be written on a student's admit card for the exam. Students are advised to reach before the reporting time to avoid any hassle or trouble.
The CUET UG reporting time is different depending on the shift. There are a total of 3 shifts for the CUET UG examination. The entry for the exam closes 1 hour after the designated reporting time. No student will be given entry after the reporting time has ended. The reporting time for the shifts of the exam are as follows:
CUET UG Entry Rules
Listed below is an overview of the entry rules that need to be followed by students when giving the CUET UG 2025 examination. The rules are as follows:
- Students should aim to reach before their described reporting time to avoid any trouble. No student will be given entry after the time of reporting has passed.
- Students are not allowed to leave the CUET UG exam hall until after the paper has ended.
- In case certain attire or items need to be worn for religious purposes, students are advised to reach their exam center early for thorough checking.
- Students will be frisked through a no-contact handheld detector to check for any prohibited items being carried. Students are advised to cooperate with the examination staff.
- All important documents must be carried by students to the CUET UG exam hall. Students may be denied entry without carrying these important documents. These documents include the CUET UG admit card, a government-issued photo ID and a passport sized photograph.
- The admit card for the CUET UG exam must be filled properly with all the required details. This includes a recent photograph and a clear left-hand thumb impression on the CUET UG admit card.
