BHU’s first-round seat allotment was on August 8. If students' CUET score made the cut, they had until August 11 to accept, otherwise, students stayed for Rounds 2 and 3.They now have options and responsibilities: log in, accept or upgrade, submit documents, pay fees, and get ready for campus life starting August 28.
BHU Seat Allotment 2025 – Timeline
You started applying in mid-July, and you had corrected preferences by August 5. By August 8 the first seat allotment was completed. You got 3 days to accept, upgrade, or pass and wait for Round 2 starting on August 11.
Rounds 3 and 4 start on August 14 and 18. Document checks and fee payments are mostly done before August 25. Classes begin on August 28. If you are selected then make sure to attend the classes.
How the BHU Allotment Really Works
BHU uses a merit-based system tied directly to your CUET score and category, matched against the seat inventory of thousands of seats across faculty, it is not a random process. Every round compares your rank with available slots and your preferences. If you accept a seat, you step out of further rounds. If not, the system tries again.

- Log into your account on bhu.ac.in or bhucuet.samarth.edu.in.
- Check Round 1: Accept, Upgrade, or Wait.
- If you are accepted into the college then pay fees, verify documents by August 25.
- If you are on the waiting list, stick in for Round 2, 3, or 4.
- Once the seat is final, clear all formalities and prepare for classes.
