AP DEECET 2024 Latest Updates:
The Department of School Education has recently released the official notification for the conduct of the AP DEECET Exam 2024 on 22nd April 2024. The AP DEECET entrance exam, organized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh's Department of School Education, will be conducted on 24th May 2024 via Online Mode. The authorities released the AP DEECET Application form on 24th April and the last date to apply for the exam with late fees is 8th May 2024.
Candidates can fill out the AP DEECET Application Form online via the official website given in the table below. Candidates must fill out the application Form very carefully as there is no correction window available for the rectification. In case of errors, the candidates will have to refill the application form and pay the fee as well. The AP DEECET Admit Card will be released on the official website from 21st May onwards, and the AP DEECET Results will be announced on 30th May 2024.

AP DEECET stands for Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test. The Commissioner of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, conducts AP DEECET which is a state-level entrance examination. Successful candidates in this exam will be eligible for admission to the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program offered by Government District Institutes of Education and Training (D.I.E.Ts) as well as other Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions across Andhra Pradesh.

Students must first check their eligibility criteria before beginning to fill out the online application form. The following are the eligibility requirements for the AP DEECET 2024:

Qualifications | All interested candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from an Andhra Pradesh or Telangana-recognized board. |
Minimum Marks | Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% and a maximum of 45% for the SC/ ST/ PH category. Those who have completed intermediate courses with a vocational focus are not eligible for admission. |
To participate in the Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (AP DEECET), candidates must undergo the registration process by providing their personal information. Candidates can now fill out the AP DEECET Application form online on the official website till 9th May 2024.
Below is the step-by-step procedure to fill out the DEECET Application Form. It must be noted that no correction window is available and so, the candidates must carefully fill out the Application Form and avoid errors.
Step 1: Go to the official website of AP DEECET 2024 - https://apdeecet.apcfss.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Fee payment option to register for the exam. All candidates must pay an application fee of INR 750
Step 3: Once all the details are filled in, a candidate ID is generated which will be shared on the registered email ID
Step 4: Once the credentials are received, login by navigating to the ‘Application Form’ Section on the homepage
Step 5: Enter the Candidate ID, DOB, and Verification ID and log in
Step 6: Fill out the Application Form and upload the documents as per the below specifications

Step 8: Once all details are checked, finally save and download the application form for further use. Candidates must ensure to take a print-out of the DEECET Application Form.
The AP DEECET hall tickets will be accessible online through the official website. By utilizing their candidate ID/reference ID, Aadhar number, and cell phone number, applicants can obtain their AP DEECET hall tickets. The final selection of students for AP DEECET will be determined through the counseling round. The Convener DEECET-2024 will fill all of the sanctioned intake of seats in D.El.Ed courses in government DIETs and Convener quota (Category-A) in private unaided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions. These seats will be assigned to candidates based on their performance in the AP DEECET.
The candidates must sign up on their own for the test. Candidates must fill out and submit the AP DEECET online application form via the official website, www.apdeecet.apcfss.in.
AP DEECET Rank Card (Rank card (Your name in the Merit List of Page) or If you have not found the Merit List, you can get it from the Results on the AP DEECET Website). SSC or its Equivalent Certificate for Proof of Date of Birth (SSC Memo). Transfer Certificate from the last institution attended.
After the official announcement of the results, candidates must go to apdeecet.apcfss.in to check their AP DEECET score and rank.
In the entrance exam, candidates must answer a total of 100 questions. There are several subjects: General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude, General English and General Telugu/Urdu, Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, and Social Studies.
