Placements is not the strong point of the college currently. There are lots of companies but the package is not good. 3.2 LPA is what most of the companies will provide, although some provide more. Also, there is a placement cell where they train students for placements. Internship are encouraged in the college. All the teachers encourage students to go for internships out of the state in summer vacation and especially for 4th year students.

Most of the faculty is highly educated, helpful and know what they are doing. Remember, most not all. Projectors are used most of the time but the board is just used as much. Seniors are another source of knowledge in the University. There are clubs like Code Club and various others where you can ask for help regarding any topic of interest.

Lots of events and fests. Titiksha, Resurgence, EDM Nights and lots of others. There is a scholarship for students with JEE Mains rank less than 100k and top students from every semester get a scholarship as well for next semester.

University has got the best auditorium across whole Jammu and Kashmir which hosts various cultural activities and events like Titiksha (technical fest), Resurgence ( cultural fest). The campus crowd is just average you will find very few people who study hard. I would rate 10 out of 10 for the campus surroundings as hills and greenery surrounding it. One can get pure oxygen here as the campus is far away from any industrial city, free from overpopulation and pollution

The percentage of students that got internships from the college is 100%. many companies find it a little too early for a tie-up with this university but still, companies like Adobe, Xilinx, TIS ,Airtel, Wipro and TCS many more usually visit the university for campus selections .

Coperative faculty. Sufficient faculty. Less PhD faculty members are there. Faculty members also got extra lectures by the professors of IIT. They are knowledgeable as well as well qualified. The latest method of teaching is provided by the faculty members.The course curriculum is useful. If you are working hard in your college, you would not face any problem.

A tech fest is organised to demonstrate various ideas. The events held there are titksha, tatva & many more with special dj nights and special single to come here and entertain us, the campus is well crowded as it contains B.Tech, BBA MBA, B.Sc. M.Sc. ibt so yes its well crowded.

Code club, robotics club are there to help.There is also a social club of Dyanu who conducts religious events of hinduism during navratri.

Salary Package:   5 - 7 Lakhs

Admission Criteria:All india rank 6811 in jee main paper 2. I chose this college of this only I am getting in JEE counselling. Also I like this place very much when I visited campus. campus is spread in 470 acres. It has students from all states of india.

Resurgence. Its the biggest Annual Fest of my college. Many Colleges participate in this fest. it has cultural, sports & many types of events.The Annual Resurgence 2k17. Every year Cultural fest from different persistent branches compete in different Cultural genresto become the ultimate champion at this very platform.

The students here in this university were placed under the criteria of having an minimum CGPA of 7. Companies including tech mahindra, wipro, tcs & several more come here for hiring, as well as the students are offering being csac, ssac, sports secretary anf many more so that one of the student members decide some decisions regrading studies or university which are further taken to the vice chancellor of the university and not even that mess incharges, hostel inchrge are also there, the highest stipend offered during the internship is 54k which is a lot more for 1 month internship but it was given to a computer Science student with an hold of over 2 languages in computer Science ie. Pytion and javascript which is a lot difficult to study and get hold over it.

The teacher here are well educated with a proper helping spirit in them, without any hesitation they answer all the questions that you need about the subjects they are teaching you, the student ration in every class is set max to 65, several industry visits are there held every months, the student are exposed to several conditions that they will face during an interview, proper guidance is provided to all the student who are going to attans rhe interview in their last year.

The events held there are titksha, tatva & many more with special dj nights and special single to come here and entertain us, the campus is well crowded as it contains B.Tech, BBA MBA, B.Sc. M.Sc. ibt so yes its well crowded. The campus is provided with full Wi-Fi support all over the campus with the hostels there provided with Wi-Fi as well as LAN cables with high-speed internet that never cuts out, the scholarship criteria lies if you are having more than 8.9 CGPA in your 1st and 2nd semester and it goes on till you maintain your CGPA and never get your subject failed ever, if you get failed in any exam or your CGPA is held below 8.9 then you are not eligible for scholarship. The campus is surrounded with a beautiful place called katra that's a place where hindu mata vaishno is worshiped, that's why the capmus is blessed with the name shri mata vaishno devi university.

They all were the expert and talented guys along with the good nature and no ego issues.

The placement is good but the package is not very good. It's around 4.5 lacs per annum. Although, the highest package is around 14 lacs per annum. Moreover, recently it has been updated, so the average package might go up to about 7.5 lacs per annum.The off-campus placement is fantastic. Our alumni in MIT are in Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, etc.

Very knowledgeable faculty having done M.Tech and/or Ph.D. from IITs and even foreign universities. Both whiteboard and smartboard are used. The teacher to student ratio is 1:40. Continuous workshops are conducted to have more industry exposure.

There is an incubation centre too for funding startups by the students (TBIC). A tech fest is organised to demonstrate various ideas.

Awsm very very good placement opportunities in shri mata vaisno devi University if you are eligible means having no backlog surely you will get placed in 1 of the recruiting companies.

No doubt in faculty max faculty is having ph. d degrees.. Not evn degrees they are having very vast knowledge to so implement things very well.

Annual fest is organised in January month every year for which students have to pay 500 rupees. But its worth giving Rs500 for such fun.

Clubs like environmental club motive of this club is to keep the university clean. Many meetings are performed to tackel the conditions preventing the environment of the university. I know about this because iwas the member of this club.

Great job opportunity in whole country in teaching,as well as other government sector as well as private firms also.

Best teaching staff that has well qualified education. Behavior of teacher is good with students and they have excellent teaching quality & they teach theoretical as well as practical aspects of the subject.

College festivals are not too much but may be within months.I like annual day function in which big celebrity comes & cheer up students.
