Best infrastructure and education 5/5
It’s probably the best part of the college. It’s just Beautiful. You can find the college page on Instagram and you will see just how peaceful and beautiful it is. The infrastructure of college is great too. It’s big and you’ll need to walk daily a lot from hostel to college. Staying in college is compulsory and they have a different hostel for first-year boys, to prevent Ragging. Hostels have either Wi-Fi or LAN port. Labs are equipped. Library has a great collection of books, there is an even digital library with great internet speed. There are lots of sports area, just play what you want. Medical facilities are available inside the college and there’s even SMVD Narayana Hospital on the backside of college.

Placements is not the strong point of the college currently. There are lots of companies but the package is not good. 3.2 LPA is what most of the companies will provide, although some provide more. Also, there is a placement cell where they train students for placements. Internship are encouraged in the college. All the teachers encourage students to go for internships out of the state in summer vacation and especially for 4th year students.

Our motto of our University "Vigyanam Brahma which means God is science fully satisfied and appropriate in our University. The study pattern of our campus is totally follwed by IIT RULES and guidelines.our campus always tries to promote science and research field in society.very strict rules against ragging here. Placements are good. Food is home like and study pattern is interesting. Faculties are very good in our campus. Hostel facilities and internet is also nice. The main thing of our campus is that there is no reservation for any category,there is an open quota for everyone who takes admission just only on the basis of merit. I feel proud of being a member in this institution.

Marvellous The campus is located at an amazing natural place. The campus is surrounded with a beautiful place called katra that’s a place where hindu mata vaishno is worshiped, that’s why the campus is blessed with the name shri mata vaishno devi university.The classrooms and labs are of much better quality and are well equipped with modern instruments. Hostel rooms are very good, clean and comfortable. The college canteen is average which provides normal food at a reasonable price. Overall, I can say that one will not face any problem due to infrastructure.The admission process in engineering through JEE Mains only.

The percentage of students that got internships from the college is 100%. many companies find it a little too early for a tie-up with this university but still, companies like Adobe, Xilinx, TIS ,Airtel, Wipro and TCS many more usually visit the university for campus selections .

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) has been established under THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR SHRI MATA VAISHNO DEVI UNIVERSITY ACT, 1999.an Act of the J&K State Legislature (ACT No. XII of 1999 dated 12th May 1999) as an autonomous, highly Technical & fully Residential University. The University started functioning as an academic unit in Aug 2004 when it was inaugurated on 19th August 2004 at the hands of the then Hon’ble President of India Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam. Dr. Kalam also delivered the first lecture to the students of the University. Recognition

The placements, the hostel life, the faculty, the infrastructure are good as compare to the other 3/5
The infrastructure of the university is very good, the classrooms, the library are well furnished with proper tech facilities that anyone would need to use, the classrooms are provided with projects and special lectures are also arranged for students so that if they need to ask some carier related questions to a entrepreneur or a successful entrepreneur they are qelcomed to question them in these special lectures helf every 3 months time and to distract from the studies proper extra activities are also held.

The students here in this university were placed under the criteria of having an minimum CGPA of 7. Companies including tech mahindra, wipro, tcs & several more come here for hiring, as well as the students are offering being csac, ssac, sports secretary anf many more so that one of the student members decide some decisions regrading studies or university which are further taken to the vice chancellor of the university and not even that mess incharges, hostel inchrge are also there, the highest stipend offered during the internship is 54k which is a lot more for 1 month internship but it was given to a computer Science student with an hold of over 2 languages in computer Science ie. Pytion and javascript which is a lot difficult to study and get hold over it.

This University is situated in Katra City which is famous for the Mata Vaishno Devi temple because it is a sacred place and this university is also in the name of Mata Vaishno Devi and I am right now pursuing my MBA in HR & Marketing from this University and I have taken admission here after completing the MAT Examination and the total 2 years course fee is Rs 4.5 Lacs.

Satisfied. Placement is average but faculty, infrastructure alumni, climate, and campus are awesome. 3/5
There’s a 5 Mbps LAN port for everyone. There are well-equipped labs along with Intel and Adobe labs too. A medical center is there inside the campus and just outside, there is Narayana Hospital (best in J&K). The library is well maintained. Games like TT, badminton, cricket, and football are common and the college has resources for them available.

The placement is good but the package is not very good. It’s around 4.5 lacs per annum. Although, the highest package is around 14 lacs per annum. Moreover, recently it has been updated, so the average package might go up to about 7.5 lacs per annum.The off-campus placement is fantastic. Our alumni in MIT are in Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, etc.

The course was Diploma in education and I was not having an option for B.ed so I decided for this 6 months course which was advised by my fellow professors and the teachers over there supported us to complete this course and the location of the university was near Vaishno Devi.

SMVDU shri mata vaishno devi University great place to work hard. You have to pass through entrance in which course you need to take admission different courses have different entrance exams for smvdu. I was shortlisted in such reputable university so i grapped my seat.
