Reasons why I chose this College.
Placement: Many reputed comapnies visit for the drive at the end of 7th semester i remember last year Apple, Wipro, Google, doubtnut etc were there in placement drives. Its only upto you that how you express your skills in drive.
Faculty: Professor’s in PEC are very highly qualified with best degrees with them. You can’t point out finger on there teaching skills as because its above xpections.
College: PEC - punjab engineering college comes under the top most category of Indian engineering colleges. Its not easy to take admission in PEC as its admission is totally based on the JEE mains exam to need to crack JEE mains. If you did it then life is yours .

Best place to walk-in with all your heart and soul.
Placement: The level of the placements is high as IITs and NIT companies from around the world come to recruit students. Companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft etc come.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and experienced too and have deep interest in research programed and support the students in this field also .
College: The admission in the college is on the basis of entrance exam i.e JEE mains. Children bust their ass for several years in coaching institutes to get a good rank in this exam.
Exam: State / National Entrance Exams

Placement: Many companies come for CS, IT, and electronics. The trend is also to not require minimum cgpa which is good for students. The only down side would be placement officer bans companies based on personal agendas and perceived insults to college.
Faculty: Divya because she was the only genuine teacher interested in having command of her subject before teaching
College: Decent students which are keeping this college up. Electronics department is a joke. Not a single teacher at level of professor there. Nothing is done to stop rampant cheating in exams.

Ths is not that PEC which I was expecting before the admission.
Exam: Based on School / 12th Class Result, State / National Entrance Exams
Placement: Placements are good in this college
Faculty: Our maths teacher is good otherwise rest are of no use.
There is the word PEC only.
College: Other clubs and technical society are good but the education system is not upto that level which I was expecting.
