Admission to Kaziranga University is officially open for the academic year 2021. Kaziranga University is regarded as a state private university and is situated in Jorhat, Assam. The Assam Kaziranga Institution Act of 2012 established the university in that year. It belongs to the University Grants Commission and focuses mostly on research. The institution provides courses in a number of subject areas, including management, basic sciences, engineering, social sciences, and health sciences.
Students who want to pursue higher studies overseas can also take advantage of aid programmes offered by Kaziranga University. Students who achieved an aggregate score of more than 80% on the previous qualifying exam are eligible for scholarships from the institution. In 2020, the placement rate at Kaziranga University will be 95% for MBA and BTech students. The highest salary offered to the group was Rs 12 LPA.
One of northeast India's top-ranked B-Schools is Kaziranga University. For guest lectures, a variety of visiting professors from IIM-Calcutta, IIM-Lucknow, IIM-Shillong, XLRI, etc. frequently visit the campus. Kaziranga University Placement is one of the key highlights of the institute, as the focus is on providing the dream jobs to its students without compromising on the needs of the industries. The university has various training partnerships with companies like Bosch, National Institute of Construction Management and Research, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturing Association, SKF, QSpiders , TAL Brabo, and others.  In the last placement session Kaziranga University, 87 companies have visited the institute and 311 students were offered jobs in various profiles. Any candidate having 5.5 CGPA are eligible to sit for the placement session. Also, the candidate should not have more than 2 active backlogs at the time of placement.
