Selection Process

Candidates shortlisted based on their scores in IBSAT 2025, or through CAT, NMAT by GMAC™, XAT, or GMAT™ (from 2023 onwards), will be invited for the selection process starting in the second week of February, 2026.

The process includes two components:Micro PresentationandPersonal Interview.Micro Presentation

This part of the process is designed to assess a candidate’s ability to think on their feet, organize their thoughts, and communicate effectively. Candidates will get 1 minute to prepare and 3 minutes to speak on a general topic assigned at random.

Personal Interview

The interview lasts about 5 to 7 minutes and is conducted by a panel that evaluates the candidate’s attitude, clarity of thought, communication skills, awareness of current affairs, and overall readiness for a career in management.

Final selection is based on past academic performance, along with performance in the Micro Presentation and Personal Interview.

About IBS Hyderabad Cutoff 2025: The IBSAT cutoff for 2025 has been formally released on the website of ICFAI Business School. To move on to the next round of the selection process, which consists of the Personal Interview (PI) and Micro Presentation, candidates need to score the required minimum amount on the IBSAT exam. Admission to the ICFAI Business School will be given to those who meet or surpass the cutoff.

Nine IBS campuses in India will accept the IBSAT 2025 scores; each with its own admissions cutoff point. Candidates must receive at least the minimal cutoff marks established by the individual IBS campuses to be considered for participation in the selection process at these schools. The admission will be canceled if these grades are not met. The cutoff list will be released after IBSAT Results have been announced.
