The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, will release the HSC +2 Supplementary Result 2025 today in the afternoon. Candidates who appeared for the Class 12 supplementary exams can check their results on the official websites – dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in.
The supplementary exams were conducted between June 25 and July 2, 2025, for students who did not pass in one or more subjects in the main examination held earlier this year.

How to Check TN 12th Supplementary Result 2025
- To check the result online, students must follow these steps:
- Visit dge.tn.gov.in or tnresults.nic.in
- Click on the “HSC Second Year Supplementary Exam Result 2025” link.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth.
- View and download the result for future use.
Note: Keep your admit card details ready to avoid last-minute issues. If the admit card is lost, contact your school for assistance with credentials.
What After Tamil Nadu 12th Supplementary Result?
- Students who pass the supplementary exam should collect their original mark sheets and documents from their respective schools.
- Those who are not satisfied with their marks may apply for revaluation, retotaling, or photocopy of their answer scripts.

Application Process:
- Students must apply for these services by visiting the Assistant Director of Government Examinations office in their district on July 28 or 29 between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
- For districts such as Tenkasi, Kallakurichi, Tirupur, Chengalpattu, Mayiladuthurai, etc., applications can be submitted at the Principal Educational Officer’s office.
- Only students who apply for the photocopy of the answer sheet are eligible for revaluation or retotaling.

TN Class 12 Supplementary No Toppers List This Year
To reduce undue pressure and competition, the Tamil Nadu board has discontinued the release of toppers’ names and ranks. This policy continues for the supplementary results as well.
