The School of Allied Health Sciences at Rayat Bahra University held its first convocation ceremony for the 2022-24 batch of MSc Clinical Embryology and Reproductive Genetics on Saturday. It was an inaugural event for the department marking the academic achievement of its first graduating batch.
Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Director of Health Services (ESI), was the guest of honor and awarded degrees to the postgraduate students. Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra officially opened the convocation and congratulated the students and wished them luck for their future.
The department Head, Dipneet Kaur, announced the awarding of certificates and medals for excellence in academics to batch toppers. The event saw a gathering of some very prestigious guests of honor, including Dr. Ashok K Attri, Director-Principal, Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh; Dr. Rajni Kant, ICMR National Chair for Disease Elimination; and Dr. Manju Bansal, Assistant Director, Mental Health, Punjab.
Noted university heads like Dr SK Bansal, Dean of Academic, and Dr Pankaj Kaul, Dean, along with faculty and students, attended the ceremony, which was a memorable day for all.
