The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has officially released the BSc Nursing Entrance Exam results for 2025 on August 9. If you appeared for the exam on July 27, your scorecard is now available for download.
How to Check Your Result
To check your result, head to the official PGIMER website at pgimer.edu.in. Look for the “BSc Nursing Result 2025” link and click on it. You’ll need your User ID and Password to log in. Once logged in, your scorecard will appear on the screen, make sure to download and print a copy for your records, as you’ll need it during counselling and admission formalities.
Result Highlights and Cutoffs
The merit list includes 296 candidates who qualified across different categories:
- Unreserved (UR): 146
- OBC: 75
- SC: 43
- ST: 22
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 8
- Foreign Nationals: 2
The minimum qualifying percentiles for the 4-year BSc Nursing course were:
- UR: 98.79%
- OBC: 98.04%
- SC: 94.83%
- ST: 91.25%
- PwBD and foreign nationals have their respective cutoffs as well.
What About Counselling?
Counselling is scheduled to start on August 11, 2025. You’ll get further details on the official website. Be ready with your documents for verification, and have the counselling fee and preferences sorted early. Seat allotment will be based on your rank, category, and seat availability.
