The online registration for Undergraduate admission at the University of Mumbai for the academic year 2025-2026 is going to conclude at 1 P.M. today. Eligible and interested students can submit their registration forms online at mu.ac.in/admission.

University of Mumbai (MU) will be completing the Mumbai University admission 2025 procedure today, i.e. May 26, 2025. Students who are interested in taking admission to different undergraduate (UG) courses for the academic session 2025-26 can submit the application form. The last date of Mumbai University admission 2025 has been extended to May 26 2025, due to several requests made by students. Current Admission Statistics at Mumbai University

The deadline for registration, originally set for May 23, was extended to allow for the recently introduced policy change by the Maharashtra government. The policy modification allows non-accredited colleges to be included in the admission process if they produce an affidavit stating that they would apply for accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

So far, more than 2.25 lakh students have enrolled, making over 5.1 lakh course applications.

Students will need to first register online at the university website. Nonetheless, for their chosen programme, the students will need to apply and register in their individual colleges. The university is providing admission to more than three lakh seats in its undergraduate programs, integrated UG and PG programs, and four-year hons/ hons with research program.
