The selection process was rigorous, beginning with CAT 2024 scores, followed by online personal interviews conducted in three phases between March 1 and March 23, 2025. Candidates were evaluated on a composite score that included CAT percentile, academic background, work experience, and performance in the personal interview.
The final merit list was published on the institute's ERP portal between May 1 and May 5, 2025. Subsequent rounds of offers are scheduled, with the second round on May 12, followed by additional rounds on May 19, May 26, June 2, and June 9, 2025, depending on seat availability and candidate responses.
VGSoM, established in 1993, has consistently ranked among the top management schools in India. In the latest NIRF rankings, it secured the 19th position in the Management category. The institute offers a two-year residential MBA program with specializations in areas such as Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Human Resource Management.
The placement record of VGSoM has been impressive, with the highest CTC reaching INR 43.37 LPA and an average CTC of INR 22.13 LPA in the recent placement drive. Top recruiters include industry giants like Amazon, Microsoft, and Accenture.
