As per IIT BHU Placement 2024-25, the highest package offered was Rs. 2.2 Crore per annum. In contrast, the average package received by students stood at 22.80 LPA.
The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) offered jaw-dropping placement packages to the students during IIT BHU Placement 2024-25 where students secured 1128 job offers and 424 internship opportunities, as per the official data.
The director, Prof Amit Patra said: “These placement results reinforce our position as a premier institute producing industry-ready professionals. Our students’ talent and our commitment to excellence continue to attract top-tier recruiters.”
During this placement season, a total number of 350 prominent companies participated in the placement process. Major prominent top recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Tata Steel, Goldman Sachs, ITC, Samsung, and more.
Previously, as per the IIT BHU Placements 2023-24, the highest package offered was INR 1.69 CPA, and the lowest package offered was INR 5 LPA. However, IIT BHU average package received by students was INR 22.77 LPA. A total of 308 prominent companies visited the campus, with 1240 placement offers including 43 international offers.
Various prominent recruiters participated in the IIT BHU Placement season 2024-25 from different sectors including consultancies, technology, finance, and other core engineering areas. This was the initial phase that ran from 30th November 2024 to 12th December 2024. The second phase of the placement season started in the first week of January which is scheduled to conclude on 30th April 2025.
