IIM Shillong admission 2025-26: IIM Shillong will utilize IPMAT 2025 score for the admission to the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) of the institute. IIM Shillong was the seventh Indian Institute of Management (IIM) which has launched the IPM course and will utilize IPMAT Indore score for admission to the program.

IPMAT 2025 will be conducted on May 12, 2025. April 1, 2025, was the deadline for IIM Indore IPM 2025 exam registration. The IIM Shillong IPM application form 2025 will be open in the last week of May 2025 or early June 2025. The application form will be released online. IIM Shillong IPM Eligibility Criteria 2025

To be eligible to apply for the IPM program in IIM Shillong in the year 2025, candidates must meet these conditions:

Candidates should be born after July 1, 2005. They are granted relaxation in age by 5 years if they belong to SC, ST, or DA categories.
They should have at least 60% marks in Class 10 and Class 12 (In reserved categories, minimum marks are 55%).
Candidates may also apply if you are to complete Class 12 by July 31, 2025.
They should have studied Mathematics in Class 11 as well as Class 12.
Candidates should have appeared for the IPMAT 2025 exam.
Students of International boards like IGCSE or IB students can also apply but need to provide an IB Indian Percentage Transcript.

IIM Shillong IPMAT Application Fee 2025

General or NC-OBC category: ₹2000
SC/ST/DA category: ₹1000

The fee is non-transferable and non-refundable under any circumstances. The fee must be paid online from June 2025 to July 2025.

IIM Shillong 2025 IPM Selection Procedure

The shortlisting of candidates for IIM Shillong IPM program is done on the IPMAT 2025 score, Class 10 and 12 marks and Personal Interviews at IIM Shillong. The IPM 2025 selection process is as follows:

Stage 1: Satisfying the Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to submit an application for the IPM course at IIM Shillong must ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria first. These include the age criterion, education qualification, and having studied Mathematics in Class 11th and 12th. Candidates must also possess a valid application number of IPMAT 2025. The IPM application form is to be completed online before the last date for the same to be provided by IIM Shillong.

Stage 2: IPMAT 2025 Exam Reporting

Only the candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can appear in the IPMAT 2025 exam that is conducted by IIM Indore. The exam will test the students on various subjects like Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability. A minimum cut-off score for each section will be determined by the Admissions Committee of IIM Shillong. Cut-off marks will be different based on the type of category of the applicants (General, SC, ST, etc.).

Stage 3: Reporting for the Personal Interview (PI)

The shortlisted candidates with or above IPMAT 2025 cut-offs will be invited for the last stage — the Personal Interview (PI). Cut-offs will be announced after the IPMAT 2025 result declaration. Shortlisted candidates will be notified and asked to report to the allocated centres.

Stage 4: Final Selection

The final merit list for final selection of the candidates for joining the IPM programme shall be based on the performance in Personal Interview. Merit lists individually shall be created category-wise. The Overall Score (OS) utilized for preparing this merit list shall take into account a few components, as reflected in the table below.
