Latest News: In the IIM Shillong placements of 2023, the top salary package reached INR 71.30 LPA, while the overall average package was INR 26.96 LPA. Alongside this, the campus saw 85 pre-placement offers (PPOs) and welcomed 63 different companies for recruitment.
Moving to the IIM Shillong PGPEx placements for the same year, the IIM Shillong Highest Package stood at INR 43.92 LPA, with an IIM Shillong Average Package at INR 25.58 LPA. Notably, out of the 43 PGPx students, 37 secured placements during the 2023 placement drive.

IIM Shillong Placement Report Highlights of 2023
During the 2023 PGP placements, 63 recruiters participated, including 26 new recruiters. However, in 2022, the number of participating organizations was significantly higher, at 73, with 43 new recruiters. The IIM Shillong Average Package for PGP Batch 2021-23 was INR 71.30 LPA, which was about 29% higher than the amount offered in 2022.

Among the premier Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), the placement season for the year it showcased a spectrum of attractive compensation packages. IIM Shillong stood out with the highest offered package reaching an impressive INR 71.30 LPA, while maintaining a commendable average of INR 26.96 LPA, and a median of INR 26.09 LPA.
Similarly, IIM Amritsar displayed its potential with the highest CTC at INR 36.25 LPA, an average CTC of INR 16.51 LPA, and a median of INR 16 LPA. IIM Indore, a prominent name in the IIM community, recorded the highest CTC of INR 1.14 CPA, along with an average CTC of INR 30.21 LPA, and a median of INR 27.2 LPA.
IIM Ranchi showcased a remarkably highest CTC of INR 67 LPA, with an average CTC of INR 17.3 LPA, and a median of INR 16.5 LPA. Lastly, IIM Trichy demonstrated its placement prowess with a high CTC of INR 41.61 LPA, an average CTC of INR 20.55 LPA, and a median of INR 19.50 LPA. These figures collectively highlight the diverse range of opportunities and the strong commitment to excellence across these IIMs.
