IIM Mumbai Achieves 100% Placement for 2025 Batch with Highest Package at INR 47.5 LPA

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai has recorded a 100% placement rate for its batch of 2025. IIM Mumbai highest package reached INR 47.5 lakh per annum (LPA), and the average salary in the top 20 per cent was Rs 41.2 LPA.

The placement drive saw the participation of 198 companies, a 10% increase in job offers from last year. According to an IIM Mumbai statement, the shift from NITIE to IIM Mumbai has increased the institution's brand value, with top-notch recruiters from industries like consulting, e-commerce, and healthcare.

The smooth transition to IIM Mumbai, coupled with our emphasis on future-proof skills, has played a major role in this success. Our students have again shown their mettle in a very competitive job market," said Prof. Manoj Tiwari, Director of IIM Mumbai.

IIM Mumbai placement season 2025 saw a 130% increase in Pharma and Healthcare job postings, followed by the 47.73% growth in the e-retail and e-commerce sector. Consulting firms increased their hiring by 28.92%.
Top recruiters were Accenture (41 offers, Rs 45.37 LPA average package), PwC India (18 offers), PwC US Advisory (10 offers), as well as Alvarez & Marsal, OfBusiness, Praxis Global Alliance, Vodafone Idea, Workday, and ZS.

The institute added that its addition to its curriculum on topics such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics further solidified its position among the leaders in educating students on how to work in the ever-changing business landscape.

"The institute's emphasis on future-proof skills remains to be a draw for leading recruiters from various industries, providing a diverse range of job roles in finance, sales, marketing, product management, and others," it further said and added that along with the regular presence of industry leaders like Accenture, PwC, and Blinkit, more than 40 new recruiters have participated in the placement drive this year.
With pay packets increasing by an average of 5 per cent, the institute added, IIM Mumbai once again cemented its status as a top-notch business school that provides its students with rewarding professional opportunities.
