Delhi University has unveiled the results for its much‑anticipated Round 3 upgraded seat allotments under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for undergraduate admissions 2025. Released on August 5 at 5 PM, the list is accessible now on the official admission portal, admission.uod.ac.in orugadmission.uod.ac.in.
Students who had already reserved seats in rounds 1 or 2 could rearrange their preferences during this upgrade window in the hopes of transferring to a college or course of their choice. Close to 34,069 applicants opted for an upgrade, while 35,889 chose to "freeze" their earlier allotment, ultimately resulting in nearly 5,930 students receiving upgraded placements.
Following the release, college authorities will oversee the verification and approval process, which wraps up on August 6 by 4:59 PM. Students allocated upgraded seats must pay the admission fee by August 7 (up to 4:59 PM) to confirm their seat. Missed payment means forfeiture of the allotted seat.
For those who did not register in previous rounds or didn’t apply earlier, a mid‑entry window opens from August 8 (5 PM) to August 10 (4:59 PM). The university will release the list of vacant seats on August 8 at 5 PM, allowing fresh applicants to step in. A non‑refundable fee of ₹1,000 applies for this mid‑entry option.
Subsequent allocations for performance‑based programmes (Music, BFA, PE, HE&S) and quotas like Children of War widows (CW), ECA, and sports are scheduled to be released on August 13 and 15, respectively. Those candidates must accept their offer by August 17 and complete fee payment by August 19 (4:59 PM).
Delhi University has confirmed 71,130 admissions across 79 UG programmes in 69 colleges, in a total capacity of roughly 71,624 seats. This year's rollout has gone at a steady pace, even though there is a lot of demand. Authorities have told applicants to act quickly on portal notifications and deadlines.
