About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:A. Media Relations & Outreach:
1. Media List Management: Maintain and update a database of journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers relevant to our publication's niche.
2. Pitching Support: Draft personalized pitch emails to external media outlets to secure guest features, interviews, or content syndication.
3. Press Kits: Assist in creating and updating digital press kits (including high-res logos, team bios, and 'About Us' one-pagers).
B. Content Promotion & Amplification:
1. Press Releases: Draft and distribute press releases for major publication milestones, special reports, or exclusive interviews.
2. Social Media PR: Collaborate with the social media team to ensure published articles are framed effectively for platforms like LinkedIn and X (Twitter).
3. Monitoring: Track mentions of Anyflix/RSIFPL across the web and compile weekly 'Media Coverage Reports.'
C. Internal Communications & Brand Voice:
1. Newsletter Support: Assist in drafting the "Weekly Digest" or "Editor’s Note" for our email subscribers.
2. Awards & Recognition: Research industry awards and speaking opportunities for our lead editors/writers and manage the application process.
3. Brand Consistency: Ensure all outgoing communication aligns with the Anyflix / RSIFPL tone of voice and editorial standards.
D. Event & Webinar Coordination:
1. Support the planning and promotion of digital events, such as webinars, 'Ask Me Anything' (AMA) sessions, or virtual book launches.
2. Assist in managing the 'Media Room' during live events to ensure smooth interaction with guest speakers.
