CMAT 2019 Eligibility

The CMAT Eligibility criteria would prescribe minimum qualities a candidate would be required to possess to get admitted into MBA and PGDM programmes all over India. The All India Council for Technical Education would be responsible for the creation of criteria for which candidates would be allowed to give CMAT. The CMAT Application process would begin on October 20, 2017, and would be ending on December 20, 2017.
CMAT 2018 Eligibility criteria state that a candidate must mandatorily possess a Bachelor's degree that is at least for a minimum duration of 3 years from a recognized institute. The candidates should understand the CMAT Eligibility criteria prior to applying for a national level examination. CMAT Eligibility criteria would help a candidate understand the conditions that they would be required to fulfill before appearing for CMAT. The CMAT Entrance examination would be held on January 21, 2018.
The CMAT Eligibility criteria have been mentioned as below:
  1. He/She must be a citizen of India.
  2. Final year students who are from Bachelor programmes should also apply.
  3. Applicants should have a bachelor degree for at least a duration of 3 years.
  4. CMAT has no age bar for applying to the CMAT Entrance examination.

Candidates would be eligible for MBA and PGDM programme once after meeting the eligibility criteria of the required programme. The programme wise eligibility criteria for CMAT has been detailed as below:

PGCM 3 years duration Bachelor degree Greater than 1 year but less than 2 years
Once a candidate completes verification of the test requirements, the application process would be beginning in an online mode. The last date to fill the CMAT Application form would be December 15, 2017. The personal details must be filled properly by the applicant regarding their personal contact, academic and professional lives that they live. The CMAT Application Procedure has the following 3 steps - Registration, Payment of Registration Fee and filling of the form. In the course of the application procedure, candidates would be giving exams across test centers in 62 cities.
CMAT is a national level management test that is held for candidates pursuing management programmes all over the country. It is held only once a year and would be conducted by All India Council for Technical Education. The Common Management Admission Test is accepted by over 1000 B-schools all over India.
The highlights of CMAT Eligibility criteria is as follows:
  1. As per the CMAT Eligibility criteria, the applicants must be a citizen of India.
  2. There is no age limit for writing CMAT 2018.
  3. Candidates who have a Bachelor Degree with 10+2+3 can apply for the programme. The results of the final year of the undergraduate degree have been declared before the fulfillment of the admission formalities.

CMAT is an examination that is held for a duration of 3 hours and has the sections such as - Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness and Language Comprehension. The CMAT screens candidates for admission to the AICTE Programmes offered in B schools and universities.
