CMAT 2019 Application Procedure

The CMAT Application Procedure consists of the following steps:
 
Step 1- Self Registration

Candidates first need to enter few basic details in this step. One has to ensure he/she enters the correct details on this Self Registration form and verify it before clicking on SUBMIT button on this page. Once the page is submitted, candidates cannot edit any data entered on this page. Submitting this page will generate a unique 6 digit password. This password will be shown on your screen and will be sent to you via E-mail and SMS. 

 
Step 2- Payment Process
 
The payment can be made via two modes:
 
  • Online Payment Gateways

One can select ONLINE PAYMENT mode and then do the payment using Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking

Once the payment is successfully done, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and sms. Once you have received the successful payment confirmation, you can proceed with the remaining part of registration process

  • Via Cash Submission

The Indian candidates can select this option to pay by CASH at any of the designated SBI bank branches

Once the candidate selects this option and proceeds, one will see a CHALLAN on the screen with the details already filled in it. One needs to take 3 PRINTOUTS of this CHALLAN, fill in the details wherever required in all the copies, and walk into your nearest SBI bank branch located in India with CASH on the next day of generation of Challan. Cash Deposit will be accepted only from the next day of your Challan generation

In return to the CASH Deposit, the bank will give one copy of CHALLAN with their stamp and a JOURNAL number written on it. Please ensure the JOURNAL number written is clearly visible before leaving the bank.

Now that one has deposited the CASH and got the acknowledgment CHALLAN, one needs to wait for 48 hours. In these 48 hours, the payment will get updated in the registration portal.

An e-mail and SMS notification will be sent confirming the payment data updation in the registration portal. Then one need to re-login to the portal and proceed with the remaining part of registration process

Step 3- Fill the Remaining Part of the Form

Once the payment has been made, the candidate may fill the remaining part of the form.

  Once the form has been filled completely, we suggest the checking of the complete data entered by clicking on VIEW/MODIFY button. Clicking on VIEW/MODIFY button will allow one to modify the data in case there are any changes.

Then click on Proceed button. There one will have to confirm by ticking a checkbox that "I have checked all the entries filled in by me and found them correct" and click on SUBMIT. After SUBMIT, one needs to accept a declaration and click on I Agree. The system will re-confirm for SUBMIT. Once its confirmed, the form will get finally SUBMITTED and no change in the data is possible after this SUBMIT

Pre-requisites before starting the CMAT Registration:

  • Check your Eligibility for CMAT 2018.
  • A Computer with good Internet connectivity so that there is no breakage of Internet during registration
  • All your qualification details as you need to enter them while registering for CMAT exam
  • You need to upload your scanned photo while registering, hence keep ready a scanned clear photo of yours taken on a white background. The size of this photo should be 140 x 160 (60Kb)
  • You need to upload your scanned signature while registering, hence keep ready your scanned clear signature done on a white background. The size of this signature file should be 60 x 90 (30Kb)
  • A Valid e-mail id which you will be using at least for the next 6 months. All communication will be done on this e-mail id which you will enter while registering for CMAT exam
  • A Valid mobile number as all information via SMS will be sent to this number
  • A valid Credit / Debit card in case you want to pay ONLINE
  • A Printer connected to your system as you will have to PRINT 3 copies of CHALLAN in case you are planning to pay by CASH at the bank

CMAT 2019 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for CMAT has been mentioned as below:
  1. Only Indian Citizens can apply.
  2. Candidates obtaining graduation degree in any discipline would be eligible to apply for CMAT.
  3. Candidates in their final year of the undergraduate programme under 10+2+3, a result which would be declared prior to the commencement of the next academic session can apply only for CMAT.
  4. Age restriction has not been specified by any authority for writing the CMAT Examination.

The eligibility for Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma Programs has been detailed as below:

  1. Candidates should acquire Bachelor Degree for a duration of 3 years with 50% for General and 45% for SC/ST
  2. Candidates who possess three years of Bachelor Degree may pursue PGCM Programme.
  3. Candidates should be in possession of a 3 year Bachelor Degree with 50% (45% for Reserved). They should have 5 years of managerial experience.

CMAT 2019 Admit Card

The CMAT Admit card has been released on January 12, 2018. CMAT Admit Card would be available in an online mode. Candidates would have to enter their email address or username with password. CMAT Admit card would have the details - roll number, time and date, photograph, signature, test center details along with others. Candidates would be able to download the CMAT Admit Card until 21 January 2018. 

The CMAT Admit Card hard copy would not be sent to the candidates. The admit cards would be issued only to those candidates whose successful registration process is over. CMAT Admit card is an important document for candidates without which candidates would not be allowed inside the examination hall. The steps to download the CMAT Admit card are given as follows:

  1. Click on the CMAT Admit Card link
  2. Candidates would have to enter their email address and password.
  3. The submit button would need to be clicked once the details are entered.
  4. The CMAT Admit card can be printed and stored for future reference.
