AP EAMCET 2018 is the gateway for various undergraduate courses to institutes in Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE. This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in Government/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. 

The candidates should fulfill the AP EAMCET eligibility criteria before filling the Application Form. After this, the candidates would be able to download the AP EAMCET Admit Card. Once the Entrance exam is over, the result would be announced in the first week. 

All EAMCET qualified candidates would be called for counseling and seat allotment procedure on the basis of their preference and merit list. Candidates would be able to check details such as Important Dates, Application Form, Result, Counseling, and many more.

The Application Form would be released in the second week of February.Candidates would be required to fill and submit the application form in the online mode with the application fees prior to the last date. If a candidate fails to submit the Application Form, the same would have to be submitted with late fees. 

The procedure to fill the AP EAMCET Application Form are as follows:

  1. Candidates would need to gain access to the Application Form.
  2. To fill the AP EAMCET Application Form, candidates should pay the required fees.
  3. Candidates would be required to pay after providing details like Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, Email ID and fees amount.
  4. Once the details have been filled, candidates should click on "Initiate Payment" and the button would lead them to the payment gateway.
  5. Once the payment is done, "transaction successful" would appear on the screen.

TheApplication Fees is as follows:

  1. Fees - INR 450
  2. Processing Fees- INR 50 + Taxes
  3. Total Amount - INR 507.50

The AP EAMCET Exam Conducting Authority would inform about the Examination Centers where the entrance examination shall be conducted for the appearing candidates. The exam centers are inclusive of 14 districts and 40 Regional Examination Centers. In the course of filling the Application Form, candidates would have to choose two districts and three examination centers from every district as per their preference.

AP EAMCET 2018 Important Dates

Candidates would get the notification about AP EAMCET Application from the month of February 2018 to 3rd week of March 2018 without payment of late fee. Admit Cards can be downloaded from the third week of April 2018. Candidates would be able to submit the application form with the required late fee until the 4th week of April 2018. Students would be able to make corrections in the application form with the required late fee until the 4th week of April 2018. 

AP EAMCET Admit Cards can be downloaded from the third week of April 2018. The Examination would be conducted on 22nd April 2018 and 25th May 2018. The AP EAMCET Answer Key would be released in the last week of April 2018. The last date to receive an objection on answer key will be the initial week of May 2018.

AP EAMCET 2018 Exam Pattern

AP EAMCET Exam Pattern 2018

JNTU Kakinada is the exam conducting authority who will release the AP EAMCET 2018 exam pattern to help students know and understand the Exam Pattern. For example, the exam pattern will tell candidates the mode of the exam, languages in which the test can be taken, the subjects on which questions will be set and paper pattern.

According to the exam pattern 2018, candidates will have the chance to attempt the test in two languages – English and Telugu. Additionally, another important feature of the exam is Mathematics will carry an extreme weight of the three subjects; while Physics and Chemistry each contribute 40 questions, Mathematics alone contributes 80 questions. The application form will be accessible around the second week of February. AP EAMCET is an online exam which will be conducted from April 22 to 25, 2018 for admission to around 1,54,000 UG engineering courses at 17 government and 305 private universities in Andhra Pradesh.

AP EAMCET 2018 Eligibility

JNTU Kakinada would be in charge of determining the AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2018. For admissions in the available B.Tech engineering seats, candidates would be required to satisfy Eligibility Criteria. Age, Nationality, Domicile, educational qualification and more factors are some of the few.

The Application filled by ineligible candidates shall be rejected. The Application Form would be available from 2nd week of February until the third week of March 2018. The Examination would be conducted from April 22 to 25, 2018.

Application Fees

The AP EAMCET Application Form can be filled only after the Fee is paid successfully. In order to be able to pay the Fee, the candidate would have to pay the application fee by clicking on Fee Payment tab. AP EAMCET 2018 Admit Card

The candidates can direct download their admit card through the official website of the board. To get the admit card on the prescribed time given by the board in the notification, the candidates would have to visit the site and navigate the link for “Download admit card”. Click on the link and enter your registration number, qualifying exam admit card number and your stream then submit it and get the print out of the hall ticket.

Reservation

EAMCET reservation rules 2015 examination

Following is the rule of reservation in this examination which the candidates who are going to apply in this exam must understand. The benefit of such reservation will be given to candidates during the time of seat allotment.

1. SC candidates from the AP and Telangana will get 6% of the total seat reserved for them if they qualify in the SC category only.

2. For the ST candidates, they will get 15% of the total seats in non minority colleges and institutes.

3. OBC candidates will get 25% reservation in the non minority colleges and institutes.

4. I the category of SC ST and OBC 3% seats are reserved for those who belong to the Orthopedically challenged person categories.

5. 2% reservation is there for those candidates whose father had served in BSF or CRPF in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

6. For female candidates there is reservation of 33% in all the seats.

If the candidate belongs to SC / ST category, then he/she needs to submit a duly attested photocopy of the Caste Certificate to Invigilator in the examination hall along with a copy of the Filled In Application Form in case the required Application Number of their Caste Certificate (in case of SC / ST) is not furnished at the time of Submission of the Online Application Form.

8. Should I upload my photograph and signature?

Ans. However, if you belong to CBSE or ISC or equivalent exam, then you need to upload the Photo (File size less than 30KB and .jpg file format) and Signature (File size less than 15KB and .jpg file format) as and when prompted by the system during the online application form filling process.

9. If I wish to appear for both streams Engineering and Agriculture & Medical (E & AM), will I be allotted the same Test centre or different Test centres?

Ans. You will be allotted the same Test centre to appear for both streams (E & AM).

10. I am an OBC category candidate. Should I also enclose the category certificate?

Ans.OBC or OC candidates need NOT submit any certificates. ONLY SC / ST category students have to submit the duly attested photo copy of the Caste Certificate along with the Filled In Application Form to the Invigilator in the Examination hall during the APEAMCET test. However, OBC students have to produce the Category Certificates at the time of admission.

11. How much is the Registration fee for APEAMCET examination?

Ans.Registration fee to appear for APEAMCET examination is: Engineering stream (E) Rupees 250/- Agriculture and Medical stream (AM) Rupees 250/- Both streams (E & AM) Rupees 500/- With Late Fee (In addition to the Registration Fee).

12. If I choose the Payment Gateway option, how should I submit the ONLINE Application form?

Ans.Before selecting the Debit / Credit card payment mode for Registration fee, the candidate has to be ready with the required mandatory details. After payment, the ONLINE Application form will appear. Fill in all the mandatory details, read the declaration and SUBMIT.

13.What are the Boxes given in the bottom of the Filled in Online Application form?

Ans.The boxes at the bottom of the Filled In Online Application Form are meant for affixing photograph, signing and place thumb impression of the candidate. A recent passport color photograph of the candidate has to be affixed and attested (by a Gazetted Officer / the Principal of the College where the candidate has last studied) in the appropriate box before coming to the examination hall. The Signature and Left hand thumb impression of the candidate have to be done at the designated places on the Filled In Online Application form should be done during the examination in the presence of the Invigilator.

14. Do I need to post my application and attachments?

Ans.No, Not Necessary.

15. After completing the ONLINE application process and generating printable Application form, will I be able to login again to change my application data?

Ans.NO, after submission of the ONLINE application form, a “Filled In Application Form” is generated. The candidate should take a print of the application form and hence, cannot modify the data. Therefore, the candidates are highly expected to be extra careful while filling the ONLINE application form. However, some of the fields (excluding Stream, Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket No., Candidate's name, Father's name, Date of Birth, Regional Test Centre and SSC Hall Ticket details) in the Filled In Online Application Form can be edited by the Candidate during a permitted period. Still changes in the excluded fields are to be carried out, then, the candidate has to write a request letter addressing CONVENER or REGIONAL COORDINATOR, APEAMCET or send an e-mail to apeamcet15@gmail.com.

16. I did some mistake in filling the details in Online Application, then how to change?

18. I have missed to take a print of my ONLINE application at the end of my application process. How will I get access to it?

Ans.You can take a copy by typing the Registration number and Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket number and take a printout from www.apeamcet.org by clicking “Print Your Filled In Application Form”.

19. What if I don't have an Email-id?

Ans.Email-id is not a mandatory detail but desirable as you might be intimated important information about APEAMCET from time to time to the given e-mail id.

20. What if I don't have a Mobile number?

Ans.Mobile number is a mandatory detail. Payment confirmation or any other future correspondence is through the correct Mobile number you enter. Hence, if you don't have a Mobile number enter the mobile number of your Parents / Guardian.

 21. My Registration No. is lost, whom should I contact?

22. I forgot to Affix the recent color photograph and attestation by Gazetted Officer on the Filled In Online Application Form, what should I do?

Ans.The candidate is expected to doubly ensure that the color photograph is affixed and attested by the Gazetted Officer / Principal of the College well in advance before the Examination, as it is mandatory to submit the same to Invigilator in the examination hall.

23. If I arrive in the EAMCET Examination Hall late by 1 minute, will I be allowed to take the exam?

Ans. The candidate aspiring for APEAMCET examination will NOT BE ALLOWED into the examination hall if he/she is late by 1 minute. Hence, there is no scope for taking the exam. In view of the unwanted situations in the past, the candidates are advised to reach the Test Centre well in advance keeping in view the time required for traveling and traffic conditions.

 24. I have pressed the Back / Refresh / ANY button during the Registration Fee Payment through Debit / Credit Card, will that speed up my payment process?

Ans. It is strictly suggested to avoid the operation of Back / Refresh / ANY other buttons during the Registration Fee Payment through Debit / Credit Card, this will not only hamper the whole process but the application submission will be incomplete. Hence, you are advised to have patience during the Online Payment through Bank.

25. I haven't found the answer to my question in the FAQ's, what should I do?

Ans.The candidate is advised to go through ALL details thoroughly on the official APEAMCET website www.apeamcet.org. Still if you do not find an answer to your question, contact the APEAMCET office. 26. I have already registered for the Engineering (E) stream and now I wish to apply for Agriculture & Medical (AM) stream too. Can I use the same Hall Ticket number of the Qualifying Exam and submit another application form?

Ans.No, the candidate is not allowed to apply for another stream after having already registered for one stream. Even the system will not accept the Hall Ticket number once registered. 27. I have paid the Registration Fee for the Engineering (E) stream, but I do not wish to take the APEAMCET exam due to unavoidable reasons. Is the Registration Fee Refundable?
