The VNIT Nagpur campus is near Ambazari Lake in the western part of the city, about 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) from Nagpur Railway Station and 8 kilometres (5.0 miles) from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport. The 225-acre (91-hectare) campus has three main entrances: the Main Gate on South Ambazari Road, the Bajaj Nagar Gate, and the Yashwant Nagar Gate. The campus has a lot of green space and is mostly free of pollution from the rest of the city. There is a gymkhana on campus, as well as tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, football, and cricket courts. On campus, there is also an NCC unit. There is also a medical centre and an auditorium.
The constituents of the VNIT Campus are:
- Ground floor + 6 floors for faculty and PhD scholars.
- There are twenty-five virtual classrooms.
- Girls Hostel: 1000 beds, with dedicated mess halls, community rooms, and a Multi Activity Complex.
- Boys Hostel: It has seven hostels for its students. Students in their first and second years share hostel rooms. Students in their third and fourth years are given single rooms.
