The final report on the placements of the Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) for the year 2023 has been published. Based on the study, the maximum package offered by SCMHRD was INR 67.60 LPA, while the SCMHRD average package remained at INR 23.71 LPA. The placement drive saw the participation of a total of 112 recruiters, with 38 of them being new recruiters. Several prominent companies that participated in the recruitment process included Accenture, Adobe, Barclays, Bandhan Bank, CISCO, Capgemini, and Cognizant, among others. Recruiters were present from many industries such as Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), Consulting, Information Technology/Information Technology Enabled Services (IT/ITES), Manufacturing/Automotive, Conglomerate, and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods/Fast-Moving Consumer Durables (FMCG/FMCD), among others. Students were assigned several employment positions, such as Associate, Business Analyst, Consultant, Product Manager, and Risk Manager, reflecting a range of professional jobs.
The report on the summer placements for the Year 2021-23 at SCMHRD has also been published. The highest stipend granted at SCMHRD was INR 3.50 Lakhs per month, and it was awarded to MBA BA students. A cumulative count of 81 or more companies participated in the summer placement program this year.

Additionally, the upper quartile of overall CTC reached around Rs 21.40 lakhs this year, in contrast to around Rs 19.40 lakhs in the previous year. The median CTC had a rise of almost Rs 1.95 lakhs this year, reaching Rs 16.95 lakhs, in comparison to the previous year’s figure of Rs 15.00 lakhs.

The placement statistics for SCMHRD in 2022 indicate that the IT/ITES sector attracted the largest proportion of recruiters, followed by the BFSI and Industrial sectors. The mean annual domestic package provided was 35.50 Lakhs, while the maximum annual overseas package offered was 61.50 Lakhs. The Information Technology/Information Technology Enabled Services (IT/ITES) sector emerged as the predominant recruiter, accounting for 19% of the overall recruitment activity during the campus placements at SCMHRD in the academic year 2022-2023. The BFSI sector was the second largest group of recruiters, accounting for 16% of the total number of participants in the placements process this year. During the 2022-23 placement process at SCMHRD, the Manufacturing sector emerged as the third largest recruiter, accounting for 15% of the total number of recruiters. The number of recruiters in the field of Logistics & Supply Chains during the 2022 placements at SCMHRD was comparatively lower than in previous years. The participation rate of recruiters in the placement procedure at the institution this year was about 1% of the overall number.
The study on year-wise trends in SCMHRD placements offers a comprehensive analysis of the average package offered (APP) to students at SCMHRD throughout successive years. An increase in the average package of all MBA courses provided by the college was noted on a year-on-year basis. When analysing all academic programmes, it was observed that the average package for MBA students experienced the most significant increase, reaching a growth rate of 24% in 2022 compared to the previous year, 2021. The placement drive was predominantly driven by marketing businesses across all sectors. The students were granted a stipend of INR 3.20 Lakhs for a duration of 2 months, with an average stipend of INR 1.90 Lakhs for the same period. Additionally, the median stipend for the 2-month duration was recorded at INR 1.70 Lakhs.

One could completely rediscover herself in these very years. Boastful about its HR faculty and placements, Marketing and Finance Batch have no less chances to prove themselves and grab rhe best of placements either. The best of companies which visit any other Tier-2 college visits the campus and a fair opportunity is presented to showcase press caliber. Join only when you are clear about what to do with your career, or else MBA is just another piece of paper in your document folder..

Even before the joining day, an exciting college trip schedule in the first week itself was sent by SCMHRD. But not to forget, a few days back from then, they had sent some study modules too! Likewise, the Journey here has been a mix and match of both. Studies and fun go hand in hand. It is a student driven college, hence, everything is solely managed by the students (except teaching!) Undoubtedly, sleeping hours have shrinked drastically but the good thing is there is something so engaging which keeps you motivated to stay awake.The work load isn’t really a burden when you’re enjoying life.

Life in MBA college is very different from life in other colleges. They make you work for 20 hours a day and SCMHRD is no different. Be it classes , assignments or Committee work, I never felt free during my stint at SCMHRD. Regular assignments and timed evaluation make sure that you are in touch with the theoretical aspects of learning ; and committee work , B School competitions help you in gaining practical knowledge of the management. It is not the curriculum of courses which is helping me learn the intricacies of management, but my life at SCMHRD is.

A spectacular 100% placement rate marked the successful conclusion of the Batch of 2020–22’s placement season. The season had an all-time-high average CTC for an MBA of 20.40 LPA and a 20.0 LPA median package.
SCMHRD has a strong track record of placements. In recent years, over 90% of SCMHRD students have been placed in top companies across industries. The average salary package offered to SCMHRD students is also very competitive.
